“Other than having to file a portion of my fork that holds axle, it was a really fun build. Used it on my flat black posiedon x gravel bike and ordering the black rim was a great choice. I may end up placing the kit onto a single speed frame and pair it with my shimano nexus hub hoping the reduction of other gears will help with the overall weight and also make it look so much cleaner.”

“I ordered my Brompton Swytch Kit during the Indigogo crowdfunding campaign and was delighted to receive it in November 2020. Fitting the kit was easy and the installation instructions and videos were very clear and straightforward to understand. I've tried out the Swytch kit over the past few weeks and as I live in the hilly South Hams of Devon it had some rigorous testing. It proved to be as versatile as my full sized Shimano Steps crank engined bike, just as capable of aiding an overweight pensioner up very steep hills thanks to the motor and wonderful gearing of my Brompton. The motor and battery are so lightweight it is just as easy to cycle without power as it was before conversion. I was intending to swap out the motor wheel to the original wheel for unpowered cycling but it feels so light even with the motor wheel and battery attached that I'll not bother swapping the wheel in and out. The only thing I am still wishing for is a battery rental scheme for when we go to New Zealand on holiday so we can use our Swytch motors when we fly abroad on holiday. Great value for money and a worthwhile upgrade to my Brompton which will enable me to enjoy cycling for many years to come.”

“Great kit, it was worth the wait. Installation is easy if you have some basic bike maintenance skills. If you have an 'extra' bike this is an easy way to go electric.”

“Bought two Swytch Bike Pro kits to convert our older mountain bikes. After the wait for delivery, fitting was straightforward although a little filing was required to fit the axle snuggly in to the front forks. The quality of the product is very good - come rain or shine, on or off-road the kit has performed admirably. We have managed up to about a 30 mile range using minimum pedal assist mode except for climbing the hills where we crank the power up to give us oldies a bit of a shove. Above all it makes cycling more fun!”

“Back to work on bike after Tuesday snow storm and yesterday for clean-up. 7,340 mostly issue free miles on my Gen 1 Swytch pack. Last Winter I had no issues with the kit. I am now in Winter mode again looking forward to many cold miles to come. Since I have had my Swytch I have enjoyed my Winter commute even more assured that the cold wind will not impede or delay my ride... as long as I have a clear shoulder! I now have a new Gen 2 Swytch Pro pack to use as a back-up, longer trip extender. It is a great size to carry along in my pannier. From past experience (at 4500 miles) I am encouraged to know that I have support from Swytch if anything goes wrong. Thank you Swytch! “After looking at various e-bike conversion kits on the market I eventually settled on Swytch for a couple of reasons. Firstly I wanted simplicity of design and secondly I wanted it to fit in with the look of my modified 30 yr old Halfords mountain bike. The kit ticked both boxes in my opinion. Quality of components is superb and it’s something that I appreciate in a product being an engineer. My first ride was around my local park so not fast but I wanted to test the different levels of assist. Surprisingly I found level 1 to be perfect for my single speed bike on the flat and for just tootling around. A 10 mile ride the other day still left 4 bars of battery. Admittedly it was mostly on the flat but if you’re creative with your ride (which is part of the fun for me) there shouldn’t be a problem with your average journey. The motor is practically silent and responsive and for me it’s the perfect marriage of simplicity and fun. Happy to be part of the Swytch Owner’s Club and it’s a nice feeling knowing you’ve built yourself an e-bike! Ashley”

“I purchased the Swytch Eco kit for my Xootr Swift bike in May, 2020. After all my research, I was prepared for a long wait. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the kit in mid-November just 6 months after ordering. The install was as described on their website and went very smoothly. My experience with Swytch has been exceptionally good. Their customer service has been responsive and my problems resolved promptly. “I really appreciate my Swytch kit. It was so easy to setup and it has been a joy to ride again. In the area I live now it has many hills. So with the Swytch system I am able to ride up them with a lot less effort. I do not have to be a professional cyclist. The design and construction of the components are of very good quality. I recommend for anyone that wants to keep their favorite bike. I have a great bike so now it just makes it even better. For anyone considering to purchase a kit please understand you will not regret it. Thank you Swytch for a great product.”
