Is a good kit, easy to use, easy to mount on your bike... the only drawback is that the bag is a little big and heavy to carry on the front of the bike, but with the new models this dissavantage is corrected

I've had my kit for around 3 months and I can honestly say it's been amazing. Having suffered from Agoraphobia for most of my adult life this is now getting me to work and back everyday and it is really helping getting that exposure that I need. I had a couple of teething problems at first with the controller but this was sorted out by Swycth. would highly recommend. Thanks Swycth. Andy

MY bike use has been transformed, now gets used much more. An easy conversion - although I do have an engineering background, which may have helped - I suspect that even the mechanically declined could cope. All in all, I'm very pleased.

At the outset of Spring this year I was determined to get out cycling more regularly, I badly needed to improve my fitness. I had already bought an eBike last year, but it is a 30kg monster, which, while a whole lot of fun and a real thrill to ride, is too heavy for me to handle in traffic, and although it folds, hardly classes as portable. I looked for a lightweight folding eBike but couldn't find one in a justifiable price bracket, so, already aware of Swytch, I decided to create my own eBike using a Swytch kit and a target weight of about 15kg. Starting with a budget priced alloy folding shopper bike with steel forks, I added a fat saddle, Dutch handlebars and a Swytch kit to make an upright pose Urban/City Bike. Job done and weight target met, I was up and running, confidently commuting my short trip to work in traffic and able to easily load it into the boot of my compact car for trips to the nearby traffic free tracks along the Jubilee River and longer exercise rides. I was hooked on Swytch and my fitness started to improve. Then, being me, I reckoned that I could beat 15kg, so built a smaller, lighter Swytch bike based on a junior 16" BMX frame with extended geometry and a low slung power pack to produce my MiniVelo or Fish'n'Chips Bike, as I call it, for quick trips down to my favourite chippie in town, where there is rarely anywhere to park a car, and a quick ride back up the hill to home while my chips are still hot. This MiniVelo is just longing for the release of the new lighter/smaller power packs, it's almost as if it was designed for one. That's the beauty of Swytch, it's versatility, you can use it to power whatever you dream, and not have to ride someone else's dream. I am well and truly Swytch'd on, my next Swytch bike design is something completely different, I'm already gathering the parts for an Autumn/Winter build to have it ready for next Spring.

The Swytch kit has been a very handy add-on to my Brompton. I'd been considering adding electric assist for several years but was always deterred by the complexity, price and inelegance of most options on the market. The Swytch kit solves those problems very well by integrating the controller and battery into a single item that attaches via a sturdy bracket. I had a few teething problems which were swiftly dealt with by the Swytch team and it has been running faultlessly since. I can now ride longer distances without worrying about getting tired or sweaty; I can tailor the difficulty of the ride to suit my needs on the day. Hills and headwinds cease to be a barrier to enjoying a ride.

Really pleased to have opted for the Swytch kit for my Brompton. I get even more use from the bike now even though I am quite long on the tooth, at 80 years old. Thanks Oliver and team.

The kit has got me out on my bike again after a break of several years. Arthritic knees can now tackle hills again. The kit was relatively easy to fit. A bike repair specialist fitted the brake cables but everything else was do-able, and technical support came back with an answer to a small problem within 24 hours.

I've put two of these kits on our 1986 Cannondale MTB's and so far they have been fantastic. Both my wife and I have knee problems and this kit has enabled us to go to places that we went to about 20 years ago. Fitting was easy, just make sure the instructions are followed, and so far after about 250 miles or so there has not been a problem. Choosing the power level depending on terrain is easy, although a +/- on the handlebars would be a definite boon. Looking to maybe add the kite to our Bromtons too.

My swytch kit has basically made cycling possible again after I injured my knee. It feels wonderful to have that mobility back. The kit has a removable battery, a new front wheel, and a pedal sensor. At the point where you would normally be pushing hard (and punishing your knees), the motor comes in and helps you along. It isn’t effortless, but it makes the massive hills where I live possible for the first time in 5 years. I can’t tell you how great that feels.

I love my Brompton. I did not think I could love it any more until I added on the Swytch kit. It has really enabled me to go farther and to take on journeys I would not have tackled before.
