Great product. First one the pedal sensor broke very early on. The videos were clear to identify the problem and swytch replaced quickly with no challenges. Videoing the product to send in was tricky with only 1 person and uploading video was an issue but I got it done and I am not technically talented.

Every bike is a little different and mine took more ingenuity to get the kit on. Once it worked it was fine and the battery is a beast. It just doesn't really give nearly as much power as I was hoping. Trouble is I don't get to keep testing it out and troubleshoot as I'd like since I'm in the great white north.

I am a proud owner of a swytch bike and now would not be without it. I have had operations on both knees and am plagued by arthritis (I am a dinosaur as my children would attest). My only concern is that in terms of contact, the company do seem to be rather “at arms length”. For example; I have seen the new control unit that attaches to the handlebars that looks much better than the original but how do I get hold of one????

Outside of a long wait (& back order) of the kit, it was not difficult to install & works better than expected..a real lifesaver on longer rides especially in the Fl weather of 100 degrees plus!!!

What a difference pedal assist makes. I’m a bit disapponted by the limited range of even the larger battery…I can only get about 10 miles, even using it at the most economical settings. Support from Swytch very good, when you can negotiate your way to it…

I really liked the way I could convert my present cycle. The set up was straightforward and the whole system worked fine making cycling uphill so much easier. However the heavy weight of the motor and battery badly affected the handling of the cycle especially into bends. After a couple of occasions when I almost left the road I removed the Swytch bike equipment and went back to pedal power.

Very convenient kit, easy assembly, good and reactive support. For future updates, please consider to provide a 6 volts output plug for the bike lighting. And I would appreciate if the battery could be locked by key or sth. similar, to avoid risk of theft when you park your bike for shopping etc. In that case it would be fine if the battery could be charged while mounted.

Ordered my Swytch on the long lead time option to get the 50% discount. Arrived within the stated delivery time. Took my time on the assembly and got everything to fit OK after a small amount of work with the file on the front fork lugs on my bike. Really enables me to get out on my bike far more than I was able due to my health issues. Have a small issue with fitting and removing battery from handlebar. Applies some grease to the mountings and that helps slide the battery on and off. Really would have liked the new Swytch with its supper lightweight battery - but my original one is doing just fine. Maybe there will be an upgrade kit offered ?

Ordering and long, long time to receive the kit definitely made the experience less enjoyable. Installing was easy. Haven’t tested it out much yet.

I like the conversation. I may be wrong, but I thought I had an option to select an option that would allow me to get assistance beyond 15 MPH

I was a relatively earlier adopter with straightforward needs and standard touring bicycle. All went well and no problems. I do not need to upgrade as I've got what I want until battery dies eventually. System is rarely used anyway. Only problem I've had is sometimes the battery is very difficult to remove from handlebar assembly so causes panic if a train involved!!

The Swytch package is neat and compact. It provides just the right amount of assistance to get over small hills or long steady slopes when the battery is fully charged. This prevents me from getting overly exhausted. However, when the battery is discharged below 50% the power assist disengages suddenly under load and pedaling becomes difficult. Also the battery capacity and range does not appear to be as stated.

I am very happy with my original kit that has transformed my mountain bike. The up front payment and slightly delayed delivery was a bit disconcerting but once fitted the kit has been fantastic! Having had both hips replaced and uncomfortable with getting out of the saddle to power up hills the assistance from the Swytch kit made my bike a pleasure to ride again. Another bonus I have not heard mentioned is that when I cycle along muddy surfaces , canal tracks etc I have 2 wheel drive !!! My only suggestion for the future would be to have outlets where the kits are available to view as all the variations available now are slightly confusing and it would be nice to know a guaranteed delivery date.

Great kit but the front wheel install was problematic as the wheel did not fit into the front forks of my existing bike. This meant I either had to enlarge the fork gap or decrease the wheel spindle width (I'm sure this is not the correct term). I filed out the forks a little and all was well, but later found out that I should really have filed the wheel instead in order not to compromise the bike. So far so good.
