Its everything its advertised to be. Directions were extremely easy to follow, the only thing was there were no directions for the optional equipment I purchased, (Throttle and battery/ power meter.) I was amazed that it worked so well after I put it together.

We love our switch bikes...only wish it could go farther than 50kms on a charge. Doesn't always work, cutting in and out. Switch sent a new battery adapter, but still having issues with it. Not wanting to spend additional monies as we are looking to purchase e-bikes in the future. Price is economical for a beginner bike. Haven't had to return anything to weigh in on the refunds, etc. Downside would be that they do not ship to Canada for free and had to use an agent in the US. It would be really good to have a dealer here in Canada that would take us to the next level in bike / battery maintenance and or the purchase of the next gen battery now being advertised.

Switch Go+ was fairly easy to install if you have a one seater but on a tandem was very difficult. Customer service was very quick to reply to help but don't think they got the concept that my tandem had chain on left side where pedal sensor was designed to install. On right side, the free side of my tandem had to pedal backwards for it to work. I had to figure out myself how to install it behind the chain on the left side but seems to work good after a day and a half trying different things until it works. Just had one day to try it out so far but really helps on slight to moderate uphills. Haven't given it a good try on steep hills. Did take some effort on the one steep hill I tried but still probably a lot easier than without it.Motor cord had a long axel sticking out on front wheel so had to use electricians tape to hold plastic cap on since would not fit over nut that was too far back.I tried to up load pictures but wouldn't upload them.

Easy to install and I can turn it off and on as needed. Still riding my own very comfortable bike which is key!

Delivery was 2 months behind schedule, but fair play to Swytch they refunded the delivery charge. Kit was well packed and installation went smoothly, but scanning QR codes for the manuals never worked, but found them online. Feel annoyed as purchased the lever accelerator but it works at 4mph walking speed only, so dont buy it in UK. Kit works well so far, haven't fully tested the range yet.

I have had problems with intermittent power ever since getting the kit . athe pedal sensor is flimsy and I ended up fixing everything rigidly with epoxy putty. This has still not fixed the problem and I suspect the battery is faulty.

I was totally enthusiastic with my first Swytch Kit (ECO) in 2021. It delivered good pedal assist on climbs ... and still does to this day! However, a strange thing happened twice in my case: after 6 months of use the electrical components in the handlebar mounting bracket suddenly failed to deliver power to the motor. The support from Swytch was fairly good, and after two months of troubleshooting they finally came around to replacing the bracket. Then it happened again about another 6 months later (Aug 2023)! Though out of production, they did provide me with another ECO handlebar bracket which is working still (Oct. 2024). In the meantime, I had ordered an AIR upgrade kit in 2022. When it finally arrived in June 2023, the boxed parts were just bobbling around loose in the larger shipment box and no documentation at all was sent - not even a packing slip. The ordered A-Frame bracket was also not included and Swytch and after 6 months of getting the runaround from various Swytch Support contacts, the offered to send me a sattle mount instead. I accepted and have this mounted in parallel with my ECO kit. AIR was/is a big disappointment when it comes to power delivery and compared to ECO actually was a downgrade in this regard. AIR is good enough on straightaways and moderate climbs, but it can't handle long or steep hills like ECO. I totally agree with the review from Larry Gross [https://www.reviews.io/company-review/store/www-swytchbike-com/23425189] regarding backward compatibility and long-term availability of parts (batteries and mounts), which is why I hesitate to buy another Swytch Kit. Plus, the price just for an upgrade to MAX has gotten outrageous: the last offer of 60% off of MAX sounds great, but you do the math and realize the normal price would 1000 Euros! YIKES!

This Swytch kit is very good! I did a lot of big changes for my customized triathlon bike (I call it Outroad SFDP 18 or Outroad SF Lightning II). 250 watt motor power is good and I mostly paddle assist more than throttle while it is used for backup. My project of this bike took me days to change out the brake lever (expensive Dura Ace), disc brake for heat dissipation, 5000 continental race tires, Redshift pedal lights, customized time trial handlebars for uniqueness, stronger adjustable kickstand, USS seat post for shock resistance, better soft racing seat, black wheel spokes with black rim Weinmann DP18. With the additions, 2 headlights (This one is out of stock), tail lights with double lasers on side, X GPS offline technology, mechanical portable air pump, portable & foldable locker, rockbros bag, and double cup holders on the rear seat. This whole thing cost me around $2000. The wheel spokes took me 4 days to finished if learned for the first time. Otherwise, the kit was pretty easy to install, the pedal sensor works flawlessly, the throttle works great and the OLED full control but my time trial handlebar has no room for them so I find another way to put them on by buying and using the handlebar extenders in the front. The customer service response is good! the delivery is okay but I did receive a refund for promise shipping delivery date (You deserve my 5 star rating for that and did an excellent job), the price is just right! Thank you Swytch Team!

I'm sorry to say that "happy" doesn't apply. Not your fault but this was for my wife and her bike was difficult to mount because the bar in front of the seat was too high. The first time she tried it, she fell before she got started, scrapped her hands, shin and knees, ripped her jeans. Not a good start but afterwards, she enjoyed the ride. She hasn't got on it since though. I got her this for her birthday which I usually get wrong somehow. Still I gave you a four star rating.

Never have a dealt with an organisation before. Response to support requests are extremely slow. However my Gen 2 kit is now extremely reliable since they replaced the handlebar mount

Works well. Only problem is I have to look for a dynamo for my head and taillight.

Consider selling a brake upgrade. It’s excellent to keep my existing beloved bicycle. But with the advent of numerous e-bikes the one thing I needed was better brakes.

I love my swytch bike. I have the comfort of my own bike with the power when I need it. I recomnend the throttle as the battery lasts longer and the motor kicks in immediately when you need it. I carry 2 batteries so when one runs out I'm ready with a new one.

it took a long time between order and delivery installation was pretty-straightforward works pretty well, but would like to see a mounting option that lowers the battery for better balance customer service promised rebate of shipping cost, but that never happened

My big complaint with Swytchbike is the lack of backwards compatability. In short, you buy a Swytchbike today, but 3 years from now, you can't get parts or even worse, their entire model format has changed. For example, the original batteries from Swytchbike, sold several years ago, are no longer supported. So what am I supposed to do with them? I can't buy an extra battery - they're no longer making them. In fact, the only course of action is to replace the entire power module (battery and battery mount on the handlebar). This is not very consumer friendly. I don't expect my e-bike to be outdated within a year or two by its own manufacturer. But mine was. The hardware Swytchbike makes is unique to Swytchbike. When it's outdated, it becomes trash. Very disappointing.

easy to apply and nice to drive. unfortunately the promised kilometers you can drive with a battery are an illusion and once the display decides that the battery should be empty it is much harder to ride than without the kit.

The first generation kit has served me well; it's fitted on my Sun recumbent. Micah Toll actually messaged me directly to give a thumbs up to Swytch as I impatiently awaited delivery. Referred a friend who then purchased the new version. Get good exercise with my old school kit. Would like a bit more power (350w?) for climbing hills and general transport (my bike is heavy and I'm getting older). I won't purchase the lighter battery until the two I have expire. Don't improve the concept. Improve the engineering and quality of equipment. Better bms, battery life, displays, etc. Lighter, longer lasting. Better customer service needed, apparently. The super ebikes on the road now are a problem (overengineered) because they are basically mopeds- good for deliverers, but being raced around recklessly by affluent kids. (Swytch should develop a rear mount, box crate kit for small front wheel drive autos. Electric transaxle, 20kwh battery for a basic hybrid. Too simple; probably too smart.) Hope Swytch is surviving the glut of ebike competition. Good niche. peace m james in Albany CA

Have had issues since I purchased the product and its been impossible to get a hold of someone and get an actual resolution. They claim they will send the product replacement in the mail and months later it never comes.
