Far too long to wait for it to arrive, ordered in Feb, arrived end of June (nearly 4 months), Peddle sensor fitted fine but not the magnetic part to the peddle arm, eventually fitted with use of glue and sharp knife. Ordered the thumb throttle but this dosnt seem to do anything when riding the bike. wheel goes round VERY slowly when lifted off the ground, but i expected it to propell the bike when not peddling, but this dosnt happen. waste of money on that piece ! Overall it works well when peddling, up hill is fine, without strain on my legs. Fitted to a hybid mountain bike that i have had for years, fitting was easy enough, just some patience ! Price ok, but cheaper rear wheel options available out there..

When the kid arrived, the packaging was excellent to protect all the components. Installation was very easy, just a little confusion on running the cables. The product works very well, although at times the pedal sensor does not engage and I must stop and adjust the sensor on the bike frame. This is not good when you are going up the hill.

Good quality kit, simple enough to fit and does the job. Easy to use. Price is acceptable if you can get an offer. Customer service is good although on line and more impersonal than it used to be Disappointed that I couldn’t have a black wheel with the new bigger under cross bar battery Range on the Max is not enough, around 12 - 15 miles even on level 1 and a lot of coasting

When I got ebike put together it ran fine, but I had some trouble attaching components. The swytch help portal was quite useful when I contacted them, but there were discrepancies in what was sent to me and the bike I had. I got the wrong components at times, but the staff was helpful in getting it fixed.

The product is great and the method of ordering it is ok. I was nervous parting with the deposit without knowing that the details would be asked for next. The price is a bit steep but you are getting a quality product. Delivery is prompt and system for returns is sound. Customer service is ok but you could do with a slightly quicker response time when something goes wrong. It would be nice to have the option to talk to someone. The live chat seems pretty useless. Also, the customer service response time option has a gap from 6 - 12 hours and next is over a week. It was 3 - 3 days.

Bought a thumb throttle for my Swytch bike which works great HOWEVER a had two problems others considering purchasing may want to note. Firstly, if you have "trigger gear shifters" positioning the throttle can become problematic and the only option I had was to change the logical sequence and put it first (left to right). If I had it in the middle or on the right side, the gear triggers wouldn't operate correctly (in any position). Second issue was my mistake, I wanted to test the throttle first before installing it so I connected the cable and tried it out by holding it my hand. Great, it works! Then I tried to disconnect the cable so I could install it on the handle bar. I just could not get the cable apart without excessive force. In the end I had to take the whole battery cradle off the bike (the thumb cradle still attached) so I could have enough cable length to get the throttle onto the handle bar. Perhaps Swytch could add some installation notes/tips to help potential buyers.

Slightly delayed and communication not great but pleased with end result. Installation manual ok - just kept working through a bit at a time. Overall ... no regrets with purchase. GO÷

I was totally impressed. I never rode an E-bike before so this was amazing. I fitted an old Trek 720 Multi-Track and now I can ride it for years to come. New life for an old bike.

Negative bits first. I waited from Oct 23 when I ordered and paid until Jul 24 for my kit to arrive. Much longer than I expected. When it did arrive there were no cable ties in the kit to attach the cables to the bike frame. The kit itself was easy to fit (using my own cable ties) apart from the sensor on the crank which I got my local bike shop to do (they did it for free). The kit performs really well, better than I expected. You can actually feel the bike accelerate, even on low power settings and it climbs hill really well.

Air Max kit. Delivery quicker than originally quoted. Price good. Comprehensive range of options. I bought the seat post adapter kit to fit the battery behind the saddle; brilliant idea! Set-up was fiddly but straight forward but I have spent 50 years fiddling around with bikes. One bit of email advice needed and the reply was virtually instant and very helpful. Great customer service. After 6 months use I am delighted with the performance particularly on long local hills which I had given up on as only a casual/utility rider. Trips back through a hilly town with 2 panniers of heavy shopping are a breeze even with the power level set to 2! So pleased I have just bought a second battery to alleviate ‘range anxiety’ on longer hilly rides. Well done the Swytch team. Thanks fo a great product. Tried to give 5 stars but that option wouldn’t work!

This was quite an expensive upgrade so I was really puzzled that you sent a replacement motor and wheel for the one I already have - I only expected a battery upgrade and would have preferred the price to be lower and my existing motor to be reused. I was told that the new battery would be interchangeable with the old - it is not - or, at least, changeover is just about possible but far too fiddly. I was disappointed that the wiring and configuration of the GoPlus was completely changed - this is not an upgrade it is a replacement technology far from what I expected. I haven't had the opportunity to test the range fully yet but the intermediate trips I have had since fitting (9km) appear to have run the battery down by more than half when the range ought to be 40-60km. The battery fitting is clunky and there is no ability to lock it to the frame. This heavier battery, incompatible with the lighter original, is far too heavy to lug about when I park my bike at the station for a business meeting. I have added a brake cable to the casing to overcome this but it should be intrinsic to the design. I made this observation about the fork mounted battery as well, so my earlier response has not been picked up. Fitting the whole shebang required considerable skill and lots of cable ties. The installation guide was cursory with insufficient detail - I had to refit the tyre so it faced the correct way when I realised that the plastic axle nut covers were handed. It took me a while to work out that the pedal sensor was a complete replacement for the earlier sensor set up. So you do get a low mark for many avoidable reasons.

It does exactly what is was designed to do - pedal assist. It does indeed take much of the hard work out of hills!

The overall kit is great, although as an amateur buying for my husband getting the specifications right was a bit of a faff. The delays in shipping was galling, as there was zero communication from the company. When I enquired they provided no information beyond the limited amount already on the website. The price is so variable that it seems to be a bit pointless to discuss. Just after I ordered the price decreased, which I queried as it seemed unfair to sell something with such a long lead time and then offer further reductions. Overall the product seems fine, and I haven't tried to return anything yet.

I've recently purchased the Go+ version of the Swytch system and it's been a great help. Living in a rather hilly area, I was finding that the uphill gradients were killing both my knees and lungs. Considering I am an overweight 56 year old who hasn't ridden a bike properly for over forty years, I wasn't too surprised to see I needed some assistance. I had been following the Swytch guys for a while, so when I purchased my hybrid bike, I always kept them in mind if I needed to convert. The conversion was a simple enough process, but I soon realised before fitting, I wouldn't need the hydraulic brake sensors as the motor isn't so intrusive that I had any reservations about it causing any issues whilst out. There was a slight mix-ip in communications to receive my refund, but it was sorted eventually. After multiple rides, the GO+ battery seems to sit nicely in the predicted range too, will have to see how it does in the cooler months though, but very happy with it at the moment. I'm still waiting for the locking frame adapter to arrive, but all-in-all it's a great product that fits my needs perfectly.

I love it now it's fitted but it didn't come with a pedal sensor. And it's still hard work up hills.

Took advantage of ordering in advance with discount, delivery was 6-8 weeks longer than hoped but after 9-months was almost academic. Go Kit appears well made aside from excess wiring as commented by others - had to use 10 cable ties which incidentally weren’t included in kit as indicated. Installation was reasonably straightforward, (I’m not a bike mechanic), only issue was I chose integrated sensor which required crank removal tool which I didn’t possess so had unexpected trip to local bike shop which cost me £10. Don’t remember this being mentioned when ordering but that was long time ago! Only had couple rides and power boost is really useful - can’t comment on range yet but hoping this will be beneficial for a 62-yr old!

I absolutely love my swytch bike conversion. I’m 67 and had stopped riding my road bike. Now I can join others on a group ride knowing I can keep up.

Does the job well, now that we have upgraded to a bigger battery. Had a few problems with the set up and things not working properly but the were sorted out via on line help and the d’espace of replacement parts.

Unfortunately the wording “universal “ kit was more of a challenge to fit, combined with the fact that I had to reduce the actual wheel from size (26 inch) to 16 inch in order to frig the system. Also had issues fitting magnetic wheel, ended up unable to use spacers provided with the kit. That said got round the issue using silicon. Kit is now up and running, having previously upgraded to old Bromptons without issues I thought upgrading full size bike would be the same!!! Support teams ok, only issue was around response times Typically NBD.

Excellent customer service Very impressive Swytch Go++ kit Good mileage Very easy to install Disappointing that the off road Throttle function is now walking speed only, not much help for disabled cyclists who struggle to push start. The regulations need to be revised for disabled riders Apart from that, another winner from the Swytch team
