Way speedy service once you had phantom where on the website to look. But disappointed over 50% of so called stock was not available or out of stock.

After a couple of weeks of riding I'm pretty happy with the product as a whole but I think the user experience could do with some work and would really recommend the seat mount or bottle cage mount solution for the AIR kit as the handlebar mounting makes bikes a bit clumsy to handle and if you have narrow bars it gets in the way of brake cables, lights and bells etc. Ordering was pretty straightforward and my kit was actually delivered about 6 weeks earlier than I expected having not paid for the fast delivery option. I'm competent with bike maintenance so wasn't too worried about setup but I hit the problem of the axle width being incorrect so do make sure you measure this carefully before ordering! I followed Swytch's advice that "Most fork dropouts are designed for 10mm axles" but this wasn't the case for me. It'd be great if a compatibility list could be compiled for common bike models and brands and/or a live chat to help with this part of the process. When I tried to get in touch with Swytch it took a few days to reply and before they did I ended up swapping the forks on my bike and using the original wheel I ordered. This leads on to my main complaint with Swytch - the customer service which I would describe it as mediocre/average. Swytch spend so much money on advertising which is very slick and polished. Please, please spend some more money on customer service so there are quick response options for customers who need them. I had some urgent issues regarding delivery addresses (due to a home move) which I did not get help with in time and left quite a stressful situation trying to ensure orders were delivered to the right place. During my interactions, the response time ranged from around 2 - 8 days. Overall, after my short time using it, I think the Swytch bike kit was right for me and certainly more cost-effective than a brand-new e-bike but make sure you do your research. Also, if you're going to self-assemble then watch some of the install videos ahead of your order so you know how the installation process works and also what options there are (e.g. saddle mount vs bar mount).

Product arrived with all parts accounted for on a sooner than expected delivery date. Pedal sensor most fiddly part to fit, but still reasonably easy. Adds 4kg with Max battery. Mounting the battery on the handlebars has affected the steering significantly, but it's the simplest place to route all cables. It becomes quite expensive if you choose the seat post option because of the extra cabling required. Have already ordered the brake sensors as my rim brakes are not so effective as other hydraulic ones which is noticeable with more momentum now. Design is good. I recommend. I couldn't get it on the cycle scheme though. Feels like the wind is always behind you or akin to having a child on a tag-along assist. Be careful using any additional speedo. Even level 1 seems to assist beyond the UK legal 15.5 mph where it should be cutting out to human power only.

I'm torn! 4 or 5? Good: Have had kit for a few weeks now (Go+) and it's great in my hilly area. Former tough rides are now easy. Still a workout if you want though. Also I found customer service responsive and helpful. Not so good: Delivery time. Did not meet what they said when I paid a premium for quicker delivery. They did deal with that premium satisfactorily though when they couldn't meet the time. **Still waiting for the quick release part for the battery Fitting was OK for a non-tech guy but 2 things: - make sure you've got a Torx wrench if you need to get a disc brake disc off. Alan wrench won't work. - fitting the PAS was hard. The directions didn't seem right ie the 4mm mentioned for pedal/frame distance and spacers appeared off. Maybe my frame is wider but I couldn't get enough space between the 2 contact points. Had to remove spacers entirely. Overall I'm happy now that it's on.

Only been riding the Swytch for a couple of weeks. Overall, quite good; some drag when you release the pedals. Haven't had time yet to test the full capacity of the Max battery. I do think, however, the throttle should be a standard offering and not an add-on. For set-up of the wheel and mounts, which was rather straight forward, longer plastic fasteners should be given since the thicknesses of bike frames do vary. Also, I think for the plugs that aren't being used off the battery mount (e.g. for brake sensors, etc.), some caps should be provided to protect those connections from the elements.

I have recently started using a Go+, transitioning from a "legacy" power pack, which has pretty much died. I really like the Go+, but I didn't like waiting for it - delivered 3 months later than originally estimated. It's a big upgrade over the "legacy" unit. the connection is simpler to maintain, and I think the power pack provides a little more "oomph" to my front wheel motor.

Easy to install. Battery life as expected. Delivered as promised. Big negative: the throttle does not perform as advertised. Don't add it to your order. It only accelerates to a speed less than walking speed (around 4kmh) and does nothing beyond that.

Ordered my Swytch Go in early July, with an estimated delivery date in August. I heard nothing in August, so wrote to them. I received an estimated delivery date for September. Heard nothing till this morning, when I get an estimated delivery date for mid October. Not sure if they mean it's arriving in the UK on this date, in which case there's a further delay with customs and distribution etc. I just get a stock reply whenever I write to Swytch. They've had my money for nerly 3 months now. I'm beginning to wonder if they're just scamming money

I love the kit. Been using it for a year and a half now. Just received a new Air battery on sale. I have 2 complaints: Charging $40 to ship the battery from CA to NM is just bad. No excuse. AND....the kit needs to include a display/controller. This should not be an extra cost add on. Please Switch....take note.

Hi, So far: Have not installed just yet as I am rebuilding my 2005, Iron Horse, Hardtail MTB for alternating use between std / ebike rim(s) and remove battery on different occasions. I also have a FS Dawes MTB so depending upon who I ride with I can have a loner bike. Like: *The kit was complete and as I had ordered. Shipped quickly as announced in good packaging. **Online installation info. Dislike: That the E bike kit's rim did not seem 100% finished, there is a very sharp right angles ,360 degrees where it was machined around the rim. This can cut your hands when handling to install tubes and tires or perhaps also when cleaning the rim later. My fix will be to deburr this and also the inside of the rim and then clean. I also would like to paint this rim to match my bike's other rim as I had picked the kit that only came in Silver. No big deal, do wish "Black would have been an option. Overall a nice Ebike kit and I'll try and update my review once my project is completed. Thank you Switch!

Maybe, I'm unlucky, but asked to provide a review of my recent order - which hasn't arrived. Asked for tracking - nothing from customer services after 4 days. The original kit is great and although I had some issues it seemed to be that customer services were on it. No issues with kit, but be careful on ordering if you need it in the same year. Hate leaving bad reviews, but don't ask for reviews when it hasn't arrived.

This is my second kit (put first one on a Brompton) and I find it to be an improvement. Smooth acceleration, steady torque and powerful pull. A few short rides around 30k with two long steep climbs have been handled well. One small point is the battery charge indicator has not moved off full charge during these rides even tho power is being used.

It is a little early to tell you, but I think I will like it very much when I actually use it yet. I was out of the country until September 24. On that day (just 2 days ago) I was able to work on installation. I was not as satisfied with the instructions for assembly as I had hoped. First of all, I enccountered many challenges. One is that when I put the wheel on my bike, the disc from the disc brake system did not fit exactly even though I tried to tighten the bolts on each side of the axel to get the disc in the middle of its home. More on that. 2nd the magnetic disk assembly is very challenging to install and get to be perfect as the petals turn and the retention ring requires hand strength that a 77 year old person such as myself has a little bit of trouble to manage. Eventually I got it on, with only one cut on my hand generated through the process. 3rd. even though the space between Petal Arm and bottom bracket shell was much more than 4 mm (it was about 11 mm), I still could not fit the petal sensor stick into the space without taking off the little things where the tighting screws would have attached it. I solved that problem by getting strong double sided take (Gorilla 2-sided tape) to attach it to the bike frame and by adjusting how the leg of the device was attached to the arm with zipties, I was able to line it up was that the disk turned very close to parallel with the sensor. Also, the battery when attached did not leave a lot of room for my water bottle (especially I wanted to actually take it out of the water bottle rack), certainly not the one that I had on the bike, and after thinking about options decided to purchase a hip water hydration pack for future use. Together these challenges took many hours to figure out and honestly required some "jury rigging" to complete. Because of the issue with my brakes I went to my bike shop (which is very good) and they adjusted my disc brakes so that there is no rubbing (but the repair technician told me that it would not have been possible to make the adjustment just with the side bolts alone, he needed to use the adjusting screws on the disc brake assembly to get it perfect, which was beyond my expertise. The bike technician was the person who recommended the alternative hydration solution, other than a water bottle on the frame. My recommendation is that you create a section of solutions (at least on line) for the specific issues that I had as well as others that you might know about. I am sure that you know of all of the specific things that people call you about for help, and to create a good place to get ideas for the solution of these problems Last point: I have not tried the bike on the road yet becasue we have had constant rain from the day I returned to the US until today. I hope to get on the road soon, and I am pretty sure that I will like it. The 4 star rating is primarily because of the complexity of installation. When I watch videos it seemed so easly, and it is not. I was trained as an engineer, and believe that helped me figure out solutions to my challenges, but it took me a very long time, and lots of failed attempts.

Good customer support Extended delivery time, seven months. It is a kit and one of the compromises that it is cadence assist, I would imagine torque assist is the better option. It has allowed me to get back to cycling after a lapse of ten or more years. Hopefully with time on the road, will be able to cycle with little or no assistance from the kit. It is one of the first GO kits, rack mounted the battery, not sure how well the velcro straps will stay the course of time. All in all, so far so good, glad I bought the kit. On occasion the cadence units need readjusting to keep the 3mm or so gap. There is one extra cable in the loom that is not used but no cap provided. Not wholly sure about the throttle control. Battery charger should allow for say 80/85/90% charge. 100% charge = reduced battery life. The handlebar mounted battery kits would be much easier to fit. Used velcro straps to get all the cables run optimally made it easier to make changes, when all good, used the supplied zip ties. Yep, recommended 👌

Love my swytch bike. Enabled me to convert my original classic bike. Very happy all round. Only didn’t get five stars because of weight of original battery and costs as much again to swap to lighter one

Four stars because it got to me in one piece, which is a miracle in itself! FEdEx were slow, but that's not uncommon so no worries on that score. I have not had time yet to fit it to my road bike but I am looking forward to doing so once the bike is back from its long-delayed servicing. I'll update you once the deed is done.
