I received set with 10mm axle. My bike has 9mm. I said i will return the kit. You said our engineering support will solve the problem and I was directed to the engineering support. Via many e mails they advised to do that and that. But it was impossible to install. Then I said i want to return the kit. You answered that it is not possible to do it cause more than 14 days have gone. Then i was told to wait until your new kit with 9mm shaft is ready and then I can swap my kit to that. I am still waiting...

Not being very mechanically adept, it took me a while to fit the kit. Had to reposition the pedal sensor a number of times before finding the sweet spot, but working well now. Really enjoy the riding experience but would agree with other reviews that the battery capacity is a bit of a disappointment. Nevertheless happy with my purchase so far. Can’t comment on returns or customer service as I have had no reason to use either to date. Is conversion with Swytch preferable to purchasing a new e bike? I also have a VOLT which offers many more miles of cycling support but at twice the price. Very glad to have both options.

I love the Swytch kit, the max is great though the battery does run out fairly quickly on longer rides, but it is really smooth riding. The one negative is the display, I preferred when it was all in one, I just don’t have the space on my handle bar. The customer service is amazing and have dealt with all my issues really quickly and efficiently! Overall I love it and I would definitely recommend the kit to others!

We love the concepts and it has opened up a whole new world for us. My girlfriend had trouble riding more than 3 miles without the motor and now we go 60 miles in a weekend. We are thrilled with this invention. Unfortunately I can't give it 5 stars because her bike has issues that we cannot get resolved. The motor burns through batteries to the extent that I had to buy 2 additional batteries for when we take long trips. There is something wrong with the motor but I can't convince anyone that this is the issue. Other than this issue, I would highly recommend this product.

Like so many reviews the battery does not last as advertised. Have a max and get maybe 16 miles if lucky. Need the go + but already spent 700. Bike prices coming way done in the USA. You should do something for all of us have complained

makes a big difference to climbing the hills around where i live .only poor points are the distance one can travel even on larger battery can barely make make 12miles.I would like the option to buy accessories after the fact as my display seems to be acting up every now and then ,but this does not seem to be an option. Reason it only got 4 stars otherwise would have been 5.

All works really well, easy to assemble. one faulty component replaced with no problem. Delighted with my bike and looking forward to the summer.

It was easy to install and works well as a pedal assist. I have three complaints: - The battery charge lights are inconsistent and inaccurate. I frequently ride for miles with all five charge lights on, then have it suddenly drop to two in a matter of only about half a mile. It will frequently jump back up to three or four lights after that, then the battery will die with two lights still on. - Battery life is not as long as advertised. Mine only lasts around 7 miles (~10 km), and it was advertised to last 10 miles (~15 km). That's a significant difference. - Why can't I just buy an accessory after my initial order? I realized after installing that a bottle cage battery mount would work better for me than the handlebar mount, but there's no option to just buy a different mount afterwards without going through another full order. There's no reason it has to be that way.

I really love it. Only draw back is battery life for me. I use it on lowest setting and it last about an hr. I'm probably going to purchase a second battery. Because of my age and health issues I hadn't been able to ride my bike, it has given me freedom to ride my bike again. I thought the process to purchase one was strange but everything worked out the way they said. It is also a little expensive but worth the price.

Great product - well priced, took a while to arrive but this wasn`t unexpected. Easy to set up on a Brompton and performs well. An issue with a failed controller was dealt with promptly following proactive help from the helpdesk to try and troubleshoot. Overall a great product.

Apart from a super delayed delivery (9 months instead of 6) it is true that once you install it it's great! Generally speaking, the installation manual is good. I had to make a modification to place the sensor, because none of the alternatives proposed in the manual could work and the sensor must be really close to the magnetic disc... But it works perfectly and that is all that matters. Also I feel that I should have bought the big battery because the small one seems to be small for 13 km per day and the frequent use seems like it diminishes the battery's capacity. But that is not very easy to define because there might be other factors that influence the capacity. Proposals: I think that there should be something like an alarm to know when the battery is fully charged, not to overcharge it. Also it would be nice if for example, by pedaling in the opposite direction, the wheel could slow down by charging the battery just like hybrid cars. From what I have seen in the market I think it's the best thing so far. I hope that they will further improve it.

Having had the pro and eco kits, yes they are good, but the fundamental issue is the poor quick release bracket, this is the weak point sadly, as any bumps dislodges the connection sometimes and stop working. The often loss of power for no reason is also frustrating. I have done many commutes to work and i would say 90% no issues, but when it does play it, useless for no reason at all. I have a 26mile round commute and have to carry both batteries as not confident in the pro achieving the trip, caught out a couple of times. I think for future i would buy a dedicated e-bike that has been designed to just work. Novel idea though.

I appreciated that the swytch kit is less than buying yet another bike and that it was relatively easy to install, even if you're not a bike mechanic. The pedal sensor keeps slipping out of alignment and the max battery definitely does not last 30km on a relatively flat rail to trail. The computer battery indicator does not match the battery life lights on the battery. The computer indicates 1 bar of battery left, while the battery has 2 lights remaining. The second battery I purchased seems to hold more charge longer. All that said, the swytch kit on my Trek hybrid did enable me to complete riding 100 miles in September for the Great Cycle Challenge to raise money for children's cancer research. Thanks Swytch!!! Its truly a joy to have the pedal assist!

Works great! Only concern is doesn’t stay charged for the duration I thought it would. Would like the option to purchase the smaller battery as insurance on longer rides.

Very easy to install on my Brompton and more compact than the previous battery generation .Very satisfied it does what I was looking for … «  a little help from my friend … ». reliable and easy to install .The only downside is the cable settings. Jacques from Montreal , QC, Canada .

My swytch bike is great and the service and delivery was faultless. Only negative comment is that when assembling the bike we found that the frame holding the battery didn't fit the handlebars properly so we had to improvise with putting a couple of packers in.

Be prepared to wait at least 16 weeks, so if you order in June you'll get it the cold weather. The product is good but make sure that they send everything as advertised for the kit - including the basic setup control display unit. They left it out from my package because I ordered in addition the more expensive OLED set up and display unit. I did manage to get them to send out the basic setup control display. I very recently tried to purchase an extra Max battery but it seems impossibly difficult to order anywhere on their website. Very frustrating
