“Works really well and keeps the bike light even when not using the battery. I had to file a bit the wheel axle because like most bikes the fork dropouts are compatible with quick release axles. The plastic of the power sensor also had to be cut a bit to fit well. Maybe not something that everyone is prepared for. But overall it is a great product, well designed.”

“My 9yr old son has the Swytch kit on his Zizzo bike and loves it. He and I go out riding on occassions and this kit increases the distance we can travel. Loving the kit for him and the fun he has. The company is first class(communication, product and packaging). I'm only waiting on them to make available the new braket for the battery to move to seat post.”

“I absolutely love the switch bike. It was a bit of a struggle setting it up however after completing it it’s work very well and I’m extremely pleased. It has made my journeys around the city seamless on my bike. Thank you so much for all the work you guys are doing!”

“I use the bike everyday to go to work. With Swytch, on days when I am really tired, I can get back home with less effort. I have put it on a Prophete bike. It has been very easy, without problems. And it works great.”

“The swytch kit was ready to fit and works really well, if anything even power 1 is too powerful. The light weight of bike and kit mean that it's really easy to put in the car too. We are still waiting on the seat post clamp kit to arrive but when it does the basket will be restored to the front of the bike.”

“I love my Swytch bike kit - it’s made going up hills so easy now. What I particularly like about the Swytch kit is how I am able to keep my existing bike that I have had for more than 20 years and is perfect for me - I didn’t want to get a new bike. Just adding the battery has made it so much more flexible and easy to manage the hills. I had the kit fitted at a local bike repair shop and he had done many Swytch kits before so knew what he was doing. Swytch is the way to go!”

“i thought it would have been more interchangeable with some easier attachments to the bike, but really impressed by the power the motor gives, dunno if the battery will keep its performance in the long future though. also quite some delays in the delivery, so be patient”

“Great. Enough power assist to make Park St in Bristol ascents viable after a long day at work but not so much so that it stops me keeping fit! I fitted the kit myself without too many expletives and the Brompton still folds easily.”

“My swytch was easy to attach to my mountain bike. However my U drop forks were made for a 9mm axel and the custom wheel axels were 10mm. Customer support was easy to get in touch with and explained the easiest solution was to file the axels down with a metal file. It took me a couple days but that was better than having to send the kit all the way back to the UK. The other thing that took me a while was getting my brakes centered on the tire but that’s because I don’t have experience with messing with the brakes. Also I ordered the twist throttle and my gear changer takes up a lot of space on my handle bars so it would loosen the twist throttle every time I changed gear. Customer support again was easy to get in touch with and sent me a thumb throttle instead. I just have to mail back my twist throttle now. I love my Swytch bike and everyone is always surprised to know I have an electric battery on it! Also I did preorder launch way back in Nov 22 so delivery wasn’t until later Feb/ Early March 23 but that was expected.”

“Great price and unexpectedly easy to install. I was thrilled to be able to convert my favorite bike (Raleigh Detour 3.0) to an ebike with the help of Swytch. The Swytch kit does not noticeably interfere with "regular" (non-ebike) riding. But it is a comfort to know I have electric assistance whenever it is needed.”

“I loved using my Swytch kit on my last singletrack ride with my teenage son. I only turned it on for the bigger uphills at first and then kept it on for the last parts as I was getting more tired. I'm finally able to keep up with him, go uphill, and still breathe despite my asthma, which allowed us to ride for 2.5 hours with some stops. I'm still getting plenty of exercise, as shown by my heart rate, and for much longer than usual. My next goal is to replace short car rides with bike rides. Installation took a bit longer than expected, having to file down the axle a bit to fit my fork and getting the pedal sensor to fit properly.”

“Overall the Swytch conversion works really well. It is relatively light, charges quickly, and the range specification is very accurate. The kit was pretty easy to install, except for one issue: mtb forks may require the smaller diameter axle, so be sure to measure and specify that information when ordering. Also if installing on an mtb, consider ordering (if your frame configuration or seat/dropper post will allow) an alternate position mount kit because the handlebar mounting may cause too much weight on the front. Nevertheless, the first kit worked out so well we ordered a second one for another mtb. Two things that can be improved are how long the kit takes to arrive (needs to be shorter) and the slow response when requesting support or asking questions.”

“Poor delivery followed by great experience on the bike I know the delivery was unfortunate and due to unforeseen circumstances The bike has rejuvenated my cycling at an elderly time of life and kept my old bike going.”
