Some modifications required to fit but works well on Giant Expression step-through bike

Excellent conversion. The front dropouts were slightly too small and needed enlarging with an angle grinder, otherwise very easy to fit. Suggested improvements: a greater spread of the assist modes - the level one assist is rather too strong. The indicated range does not seem very accurate and often differs between the display on the battery and the display on the controller.

It's a great boost on hills but the battery doesn't last long enough. Dawes discovery is a tandem cycle so it's almost double the weight

Very good value, easy to install. We have the earlier, bulkier battery pack and will explore swapping this for the newer one. My one wish is for a crank torque, not rpm, sensor to drive motor power input. This addition made our Brompton M6 a very capable ebike for around town/commuting use.

Worcester, Massachusetts, USA has many hills. I am, 78 year old male) and now am able climb them without too much effort with my upgraded bike. The major problem I had with the bike was the delivery uncertainty. Delivery was 5 months later than promised. I would not have minded it if I was informed on a timely basis of the delays. The problem was that customer service responded slowly and ambiguously. A minor problem was that the spokes on the wheel were not tightened. I had to tighten each one individually. When the package was delivered, it had everything that was promised packaged in an intelligent manner. EVERYTHING came in working order. Assembly was relatively easy except for installing the inline brake sensors. Overall I am a very satisfied customer; the upgraded bike is a lot of fun.

Good quality built. Works as expected. Perfect pedal assistance for my Brompton without going into complex transformations. Folds welll (it is heavier, but it was never light, was it?) and most importantly it keeps the Bomopton ride feel.

I‘ll keep it short, by far the best method for turning any bike into an e-bike without any compromises. Happy to own one, probably not the last swytch kit I will purchase ;)

Once I had received and Swytched my Boardman hybrid bike, I was very pleased. Long delay in receiving it and very little customer service but happy with the end result. I suggest you give them a go as it’s a good product.

It’s fantastic , my bike I think not ideal as a very heavy bike already and extra. Weight of wheel seems to be making it to under pressure but the swytch kit is fantastic

It’s been a revelation! Really steep hills are now manageable and it has transformed my commute so I’m cycling every day instead of 3 days a week.

Easy install on old Raleigh Pioneer 5 SIS step thru bike. My main journey on it is 8 miles into town, and back again up a moderate incline. The Max battery pack can do this if I am frugal on the way in (mostly downhill) and use it on a low assist level (one or two bars) on the way back. Cold weather can also reduce your mileage - but that would be true of any e-bike?

Our area has a number of hills which are duffucult to get all the way up without making you exhausted . Since installing the swytch kit on my bike I'm using my bike much more and arriving at my destination fresh with plenty of energy.

It’s great! A big help getting around - although the battery can completely lose power occasionally, generally at the bottom of a hill

This is strange as I already did a review here, referring to my original review on Trustpilot, but I'm not able to see it, so again: 3 Star due to really bad Customer Service (still new, so hope that no hardware problems down the line). Full review at: https://uk.trustpilot.com/reviews/64073063fac635bc34c74260 And also, check the 3, 2, and 1-star reviews (here) as the are very accurate from my experience related to my issue of C. Service.

Now I can keep up with the rest of my group without the expense of a dedicated electric bike. And it is easy to operate

Other then the long delivery delay, I'm very satisfied with the kit. Only one minor issue, I don't like the handle bar battery mount it makes the front too top heavy which results in bit of steering imbalance. I originally ordered the bar mount, but it wasn't available at the time so I got the handle bar mount instead. I'm supposed to eventually get the bar mount mount soon according to an email I received.

I have a Universal kit on my Orange E4 (which is probably sacrilege but at 84 who cares) and I love it. It flies! I can do all the recreational routes again that I used to do when I was 65. I highly recommend it. Bit of irritation over delivery. I ordered it in September 22 and was told it would arrive in March 23. It eventually arrived in mid June. A couple of thing to comment on. I found one other point that mentioned in the manual, regarding the magnetic ring alignment and its sensor. It's advised where there is limited fitting space, the bracket and lugs should be removed from the sensor before securing with plastic ties. I found, on the painted surface of the bike's frame this method did not secure the sensor tight enough. I had to re-enforce with plastic tape. The Mount comes with 3 extra leads that are intended for accessories. In my experience electronics and British wet weather don't go well together. Perhaps some protective caps could be added to the kit Finally, I'd like to buy an OLED display or a second battery but it appears I have buy a full kit to achieve this. So far no reply to my query with Customer Service Apart from these minor niggles, the kit is brilliant. Highly recommended

It took the company some time to get up and running and deliver the kit, but once they did i clocked 500km on my electric conversion and so far i am pretty happy with it. The product is well designed and engineered, the small battery is very portable and big enough for daily commutes. The motor is small but strong. I feel that the motor programming could be a bit more refined but it works.
