“I wish I had found Purition years ago. I travel for work and food options are limited and hotel breakfasts are often not what I would choose. Purition is so easy to pack, along with yogurt and strawberries or I can buy them fresh along the way. Initially I did it to lose some post- menopausal pounds, but it's such an easy way to know that I am eating healthily that I have carried on having Purition daily and look I forward to it. Initially I tried 14 samples, and chose 3 flavours to buy in bigger bags; coconut, strawberry and peach/apricot. When I came to order again the peach/apricot had been discontinued (sadly) as it was special edition, so I ordered the special edition mixed Berry (and strawberry and coconut). “I chose Purition initially because of the recognisable ingredients and lack of nasty additives that so many high protein powders seem to have. It does have Steviol as a sweetener but this is a reasonable compromise in my book as it means there’s no added sugar.
I regularly order the large bags of the cocoa variety to use as a quick meal if I’m short of time and want to make sure I have a good balance of nutrients. I also drink it to break my fast after a morning workout or run. It’s not too sweet and I love the flavour. I usually just blend with half water and half semi skimmed milk but it’s good with almond or oat milks. If I’m in a rush I don’t always blend it, just give it a good shake and I find it fine to drink that way. It’s also really good in overnight oats and mixed with natural Greek yoghurt.”

I started with the starter packs, mixing them with different types of milks (coconut milk bring my fave). “I was looking for a protein shake that wasn't full of chemicals and this fits the bill. I was concerned as I have IBS but took the advice from the website and started on 20g every other day. There have been no issues so now I make the shakes with the 40g recommended. It keeps me full until lunchtime and has had a positive impact on my energy levels. My sugar cravings have dampened. So far my favourites have been the good old classic strawberry and also beetroot and chocolate. I've knocked off one star as it is expensive but you get what you pay for. I would recommend.”
“Straight up revolting. Texture was awful, taste was artificial and nasty. Would give zero stars if that was possible. I used the correct amount of liquid and blitzed it in my NutriBullet for the correct amount of time but it was still just the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth.”
