“I can't fault Lowa boots. They are comfortable right out of the box, lightweight, fully waterproof and the removable insoles allow me to fit my own orthotic insoles. I still wear a pair of Renegades that I bought 8 years ago, although they've been demoted to gardening footwear so I could treat myself to a smart new pair. Their website is easy to navigate and delivery is fast. I'm a very happy Lowa customer.”

“Ordered new Baldo GTX boots direct from Lowa and they were delivered in less than two days. The boots themselves are excellent and felt comfortable out of the box. I was able to wear them with confidence mere days later on a long three day hike in Devon and Somerset last weekend. These are the sixth pair of Lowa boots in a row that I've bought, mainly due to comfort.”

“I have this model because there are no better shoes. I bought the same model in 2006. For 9 years I used them when I worked in search and rescue group at Fire Department as a dog provider. I wore them in winter and summer, in snow and rain, in the wood and in the rubble, all the time. After 14 years of intensive use they started to get soaked. So I thought that I need the new one- the same model but different color as an upgrade.”

“Been using these for years. New Explorer 11 GTX shoes worked well from first day so have now updated my boots to Explorer as well PS Needed to use exact shoe size for these whereas with Renegade before, always needed half a size larger.”

“The boots are great and kept my feet dry and comfortable on a 50km hike across Dartmoor. Although they cost a lot my last pair lasted me 12 years so still excellent value for money compared to cheaper ones.”

“Quick and easy to order my usual Renegade GTX mids. If I was looking for completely new boots, I’d prefer a bricks-and-mortar shop but when I’ve worn the same boots for years the Lowa e-shop is the obvious choice when I live in rural Scotland. Incidentally, I’m on my fifth pair of Renegade GTXs: according to my walking log each pair lasts 1,000-1,200km before I wear the tread off the soles. I’m more than happy with that.”

“My third purchase of Lowa Boots, this time Ranger 3. Very quick delivery, the boots are superb for comfort, I have problematical feet, they being 68years old and many thousands of miles walked in that time, I have found the Ranger is especially good for my bunion in that the stiffer insole and more rigid boot makes little demand in that area. Lowa is my boot of choice now and forever. Thanks.”

“So far so good. Tried other so called ‘hunting’ brands and they were an awful fit. As soon as I got these out the box and wore for first time I could tell they were a cut above the rest. You get what you pay for! Postage was really fast and free and boots arrived in beautiful order and condition. Very happy”

“I have had 3 pairs of the Renegade GTX Mid over what is probably the last 10 years. The first pair lasted ages but then we got two energetic dogs that needed walking every day, regardless of the weather. Very soon I needed another pair but I ruined those as we moved house and only had a warm spot near a radiator to store them. With 2 years the leather split although they remained water tight (somehow). This purchase was to replace those but the weather has meant I'm still using my 2nd pair of the Renegade GTX Lo. These also get used for gardening. Why do I keep buying the same? Simply they fit my feet beatifully. From the first pair, recomended by an outdoor shop in Leamington Spa, I have been saying it is like walking in very suportive slippers. Of course they won't suit every foot but with 3 width fittings and half sizes most people should find one to fit them. The Lowa website was easy to use and enable me to buy a pair at a considerable (30%) saving, probably because the colour wasn't selling well. As I don't look at my feet very often when walking I really don't mind what colour they are; suitability for purpose, fit and comfort are much more important.”
