“I was really looking forward to trying on the lowa GTX after reading so many fantastic reviews. They are very well built but narrow in fitting, I brought a size up but they are still narrow. I’ve worn them around the house trying to decide if they’ll break in enough for me to be comfortable. I think they will so I’ve kept them. I haven’t been on a walk yet so I can’t comment on how they perform. Unfortunately I wasn’t immediately blown away by their comfort but maybe my expectations were too high.”

“The boot is comfortable and relatively light. Have loved it for many years and is my GoTo boot for the mountains. As for recommending to friends, well it depends on the fit. But Lowa make it in three widths, so this helps.”

“Extremely pleased. I ordered a pair of Lowa Renegade GTX boots which were delivered by DPD 2 days later. I subsequently ordered another pair in a different colour in the same size for fitting comparison. Again these arrived promptly 2 days after ordering. I decided to return the second pair, I did this via a DPD collection point at a local Homebase, easy! Two days later I received an email from Lowa to confirm receipt and that my refund had been issued. So simple and excellent!”

“Received my boots within 24 hours of placing the order. Ordered half a size larger than normal as, although I am a size 4/37, my right foot is slightly longer than my left and has been causing me some issues in trying to find the right boots. Ordered them in a wide too - liked the idea of having more room in the boot for thicker winter socks. They fit perfectly. Tried them out in Snowdonia two days after receiving them and they couldn't be more comfortable. They have very good grip, the heels don't rub, the insoles are very comfortable and my feet stayed dry all day, despite the damp conditions. I love that they come with proper care instructions too - very handy for those of us who haven't owned a good pair of hiking boots before! I can honestly say that I wouldn't think twice before purchasing more footwear from Lowa!”

“As far as service goes Lowa can't be faulted (in my case), I had to return a pair of boots. The process was straightforward. I have just one negative; the maintenance regime for the particular boots is quite demanding and in the end would not suite me, had the details been available on their site when I ordered them I could have saved myself some time.”

“This purchase (Ranger III GTX) was my second pair of Lowa boots and an upgrade from my Renegades, also a quality boot. Shipping was rapid and so far the build quality and comfort has proven to be excellent. I can highly recommend Lowa, you won't get better!”
