“I am a team member of Avon and Somerset Search and Rescue, part of MREW. Recently purchased a pair of LOWA Tibet GTX. just did the first walk to break in the boots, 12km, and can only say fantastic. Plenty of toe space, very good support, robust and waterproof. This is a Class C boot that covers tracking and some mountaineering levels. I cannot ask for anything better for what I need as part of my involvement in Mountain Rescue. Possibly the best boots I ever had. Just please remember how to correctly choose your boots to target your needs.”

“After having tried many different walking shoes from other companies that all didn't fit properly or just looked awful, I returned to Lowa. I have had Lowa walking shoes before that lasted about 10 years (and for a while I even wore them daily). I was a bit reluctant to order online, as I prefer to try the shoes on before purchasing them. But I ended up ordering and found a very well fitting pair for my rather narrow feet that also look good and so far am very happy with my purchase! I had ordered several pairs to chose from - as for the shoes I didn't want to keep: Returns were super easy and free of charge. Would definitely order from Lowa again!”

“Wanted the shoe in the beige colour and Could only find it at £160, had a quick look on Iowa website and they had a pair in my size reduced to £89 including free postage. Ordered Sunday delivered Tuesday. Very pleased.”

“Just got my new Lowa Renegade GTX Lo Wide. This is the 3rd pair I've had, I get about 12 months wear from them before the heel starts to get too worn. It might not sound a long time, but I average 5 miles a day in them everyday, mostly walking on paved areas, so I think its good going. I find them very comfortable and hardwearing, and I think good value for money. I also like the fact they are made within the EU, not some sweat shop in the 3rd world.”

“The best boots and the best shoes I have ever worn come from Lowa. Whilst it's true that not every boot fits every foot, Lowa make a really well designed product that works for most people. I'd recommend them before any other manufacturer.”

“I recently ordered some new laces for my Lowa boots. They arrived the very next day and fit my boots perfectly (unlike the non-Lowa laces I'd previously bought elsewhere). Great product and great service.”

“Seamless buying experience. My order was dispatched less than 24 hours after I placed it, and arrived the day after - and I was kept updated from the delivery service with the window for delivery. Love the boots, though the insoles aren't worth tuppence - I've replaced with something that actually has cushioning. I've done some miles in them, and so far they are still waterproof and comfortable, and very sturdy with great support (exactly what I needed).”

“Excellent quality - I've been buying them for years. Online sales service is superb - shoes arrived the following day and included a pre-printed return slip and instructions on arranging collection for return if they didn't fit - the best returns process I've come across. In this case there was no need for return as they are a perfect fit (Lowa do half sizes and 10.5 on their last is a better fit than size 11 on British lasts)”
