“I'm on my 4th pair of Renegade boots and shoes. My fit is wide. Mainly used for moor and wood trails walking the dogs in all weathers. Waterproof and supple. Tried others these suit me best”

“I was extremely (cannot emphasize this enough) grateful to James the customer service representative for helping me after I had a negative, frustrating experience with a company in Germany where I bought a pair Lowa boots from. He was sympathetic to my situation and I truly felt that my reactions to the other company were validated by him. He immediately helped me and out of good will, send me a new pair of boots! “Bought size 11.5 regular and then 11.5 wide. Tried to exchange them for size 11 wide but an exchange isn't possible so it was refund and then repurchase. During that time my Scarpa vortex xcr GTX turned up, fitted like a glove and haven't been off my feet since (ish). I was dying to want the Lowa but I just couldn't get them to fit. Very tough looking shoes but the scarpa just instantly ticked all the boxes. I was going to keep both scarpa and lowa but when the scarpa came I realised it was pointless.”

“Great shoes for my feet, extremely comfortable, hard wearing, easy to clean and look good too. I bought my first pair three years ago and soon bought a second in a different colour as they helped, very quickly, to sort out my painful heels. I am now on my fourth pair as only now my first, which have been worn constantly, have finally succumbed. The biggest problem has always been actually getting them in size seven (UK), I would have liked the blue ones this time but the only pair I could find were in Germany and they would not ship to UK. Sourcing has always been a problem”

“This is my third pair of Renegades. They are excellent boots and in the latest model the wide fitting is very comfortable. Their weakness is that they wear out on the heels first and long before the main soles. An effective resolving service would be appreciated.”
