“I’ve only had these boots a few weeks and will be testing them out in the Peak District next week. They felt really comfortable straight out the box and after wearing them for a few hours I realised I’d forgotten they were brand new, no breaking in or niggles.”

“Great price fast delivery very light comfortable hiking boot with plenty of support and cushioning. Wear straight out the box walked 18 miles very comfortable gortex so feet warm and dry. True to size”

“Great quality boots and shoes but seem to be a little narrower than my previous pair. Had to return them but the refund process was very quick and efficient (and free returns) therefore happy to re-order in the next size and hope they are a better fit.”

“I don't know what's happening, I knew about Lowa as a perfect shoesmakers but my expirience was not good at all. One shoe was excellent another one was poor. Something's wrong with the sole so it hurts and different shape even when you try it. Fortunately that I haven't gone outside first. Sent back”

“Purchase of the Lowa boot cleaning kit was simple enough. I have only managed to use the actual product once, and it seemed to do the job. My main issue was its wasn’t as obvious how to use the product for that initial attempted. I had to find a webpage detailing how to use all 3 products. Overall, satisfied”

“I bought these shoes (Taurus Pro GTX Mid) for work - I work as a gardener two days a week. So far I am satisfied with these shoes, my feet don't get tired with them, GORE-TEX works on hot days, my feet stay dry after eight hours of work.”

“The boot insole was stuffed in and is not a corresponding fit- has to obtain other insoles. I have owned Lowa boots for years but like most things nowadays just sloppy standards. Disappointed.”

“Love my boots but unfortunately they are a little small so need to send them back. Unfortunately your system does not allow me to simply get an exchange pair and I have to get a refund and then source my next pair from another outlet after you have refunded me for my purchase at the Gamefair 2023. I am incredibly busy with work at the moment so haven’t been able to do this. If I had know this was the case I wouldn’t have purchased at the Gamefair as I could not try on the exact pair I wished they had none available to try so had to try on another type of boot but unfortunately the size didn’t match. I love my Lowa hunter boots and had hoped my new ranger boots would be perfect for lighter use. Now considering very seriously not to bother at all with them because you cannot make a simple exchange from a 9 to a 9 1/2 from stock. Disappointed to say the least!!!”

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your review, but sorry to hear about the confusion here. We do understand it can be tricky to get the size right first time, and it's why we include a free returns label with a pair of boots, so you can easily return them to us for a refund, if the size or fit isn't quite right. Normally the refund is processed within 24hrs of the boots arriving back with us. It's certainly not the case of needing to go and purchase a pair of boots from another outlet though, so apologies for the misunderstanding there - it should simply just be a case of placing a new order through the website, for the correct size.
