“I brought a pair of lowa Renegade GTX mid just over a year ago i got them as i thought Lowa was a good company ( very wrong ) i wore them everyday walking on the road and fields and never went near a mountain and with in a year if it rains or the grass is wet i get wet feet, i sent them back to were i got them from and now lowa with there so say 2 year warranty are not interested so i might as well put the boots in the bin they are the worst boots i have ever had. so if you are are thinking of buying a new pair of boots from Lowa don't waste your money find a more professional company who make better boots and knows how to look after there customers as Lowa don't.”

“I have been wearing my new Renegade GTX mid (wide fit) boots round the house for about 3 weeks because I was so worried that they would not be right after having tried a succession of boots and trainers which did not suit my feet. I only took them out in earnest yesterday, doing a 4 mile hill walk with my daughter's Scottie. Well I really need not have worried. They were reassuringly comfortable,, airey, grippy and confidence-inspiring - no less so today. Although I have not really tested them very far (the weather is sunny and mild at present) I'm expecting them to deserve the 5 stars in foul weather.”

“This is my second pair of Renegade boots. I walk 3 hours a day every day off road with the hound and buying a second pair is evidence of how I rate them. They really are comfortable out of the box and actually, really waterproof. I've tried other manufacturers who claim waterproofness only to end up with damp toes and damp boots inside. With Renegades I've never had to put a pair of damp boots on again for our second daily walk and that is important when we walk every day.. I do use conditioner and waterproof spray to help them to last longer but I don't know if that is really necessary. (Lowa?)”

“Having been looking for some extra wide boots and not getting satisfaction for several High Street retailers I took to the internet and found Lowa. Their site was very easy to understand including details of how and where their boots were wider. The ordering was simple with the boots arriving just a few days later. Although not needed the necessary paperwork for returning items came within the box. Excellent service, thank you.”

“These are really comfortable shoes and excellent summer trainers. I had to buy this pair to replace the ones I bought last summer because I ruined them in the very hot weather we had. Beware of melted tarmac, not good for the soles.”

“Fantastic service. Great shoes. Had mine about three years. Uppers still look great worn soles. Had them re soled at Craggs then bought new insoles directly from Lowa. Arrived in a couple of days 😀”

“Following significant research, I eventually settled for the Lowa Renegade GTX Wide fit. They are probably the most comfortable walking boots I’ve ever owned. I wore them fresh out of the box to walk part of the Southwest Coast Path (UK), from Bude to Crackington Haven, a distance of 8.5 miles (13.5kms) and felt safe, secure and dry underfoot at all times. These fantastic boots will be my first choice for many hikes and years to come.”

“I bought a pair of: Camino GTX® Style: 540115-177-090 - Colour: Black/Orange - Size: 9 Although I have not worn them in anger yet (Dartmoor) I am submitting a review of the most important part - Purchase. Yes I can write the same as everyone else "quick delivery" and blah blah blah - but...…….. when buying boots I have a view you really need to try them on first. Ordering online is a risk. I bought these online because Lowa make it crystal clear how easy it is to return them if they don't fit or you don't like them. I read people comments and chose 1 size bigger than my normal shoe size - and this for me was correct. I did not have to return my boots but the process to do so was really straight forward. What Lowa have done is given me the confidence to purchase expensive, difficult items online in the future. For the record, love the boots so far they are comfortable and I think will be the right ones for me. Well done Lowa on having a decent website that rates the usage of boots and the ability to use the original packaging to return with no hassle if it is required. My days of travelling 27 miles to the nearest boot shop to try on a few pairs and only buy what they have in stock instead of what I want are over!”

“Having been very disappointed with a high street retailer that I had used for a number of years, I went online and discovered exactly what I needed. They arrived within days and appear to be exactly what I required. As yet not tested to their full extent, but I have no reason they do not do as stated on the Lowa website. This company and their direct sales will be my future first port of call when replacements are required. The only reason they have not been rated as Very Good - 5 Star standard is due to not yet having used the boots over a wide variety of terrains.”

“Very fast and efficient delivery service. Only worn these boots a few times but have found them to be very light and comfortable. Ordered the wide sizing due to a foot problem and they do give room for my foot in the boot to move properly. Great to find a boot company who does actually make boots in different width fittings.”

“Very prompt delivery. Comfortable well made shoes- I've only worn them once as yet so can't comment in more detail. What I really like is the fact they come in half sizes and three width fittings. I did need to take a half size larger than usual, however.”

“Turned up the next day exactly as described. Put them straight in my Lowa boots and are comfy. Just what I needed as the innersoles of the original boots has started to wear making holes. This was a cheap fix to the problem and I get to keep my comfy boots.”

“Excellent products and customer support. I emailed Lowa UK to ask when a particular size of insole would be back in stock. Not only did they reply but some time later I received an email to say that the size I wanted was back in stock.”

“Ordered a product from their website that later turned out not to exist and it was only luck I happened to spot that they intended to send me an alternative pair of shoes many sizes too big that would've needed to be sent straight back.”
