“Easy to order was kept informed of delivery and it came the next day and the price was excellent too. Very impressed with them Not actually used the chimney starter as it’s been raining here”

“Logs arrived 2days before allocated slot, luckily I was home as I was not notified that they were coming early. The best part of the delivery was the driver, she could not do enough to make everything go smoothly, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. The worst part was that I was charged £15-00 delivery when I only live 12 miles from their Chester distribution centre, when I questioned why they said it was only free to most postcodes!!!!”

“Great service from Logs Online again, dispatched as promised. What a shame DHL lets logs Online down, promised delivery on 3 seperate occasions and failed to deliver on each, no communication from DHL, when I contacted DHL they promised delivery on 17 August between 17:18 and 18:18 but delivered 15:26 in a very damaged box stating I had signed for the delivery, I was out, I certainly didn't sign for the package. The fire lighters box was broken so individual firelighters were scattered inside the box. The condition of the box which was open lead me to think some would probably have been lost in transit. Will use Logs Online again, but will avoid DHL”

“Purchased the bagged hardwood logs which arrived on a pallet. The delivery driver was courteous and helpful dropping the said pallet close to my log store making storage a breeze. The product was as advertised and below 20% moisture. Hopefully they will burn well when winter comes. Would deal with this company again.”

“Finding a suitable logs package deal is relatively easy, as is placing an order. What is unreliable is getting delivery on an agreed date. The order form shows the delivery date. In the past, this has been reliable, with e-mail confirmation that the consignment is in the hands of the carrier and delivery date, followed by a text alert on the day. On this occasion, there was no e-mail nor text. On the expected day of delivery I had a phone call to ask what day would be convenient for delivery - this was not from the usual carrier, but one which I understood to be a sub-contractor. The delivery was made on the eventually agreed date. Also on this occasion, the deliverer had great difficulty offloading the pallet from the lorry and moving it to the front of the house. The consignment of nets was not stacked andsecured to the pallet properly, so as the pallet was moved a number of nets fell off. The pallet itself was not particularly well made. All in all the job was done but not particularly well.”
