“Very happy with our delivery of Kiln Dried Birch Firewood Logs 20 x 10KG Nets. We were given a time slot which was a great help, and the nets made the transfer from the pallet easy.”

“Generally very happy. A couple of smaller points: For kiln dried firewood the packaging should always include a top surface cover as our logs gained water while we unloaded in the rain. Sometimes the carrier expresses surprise and annoyance because we live in a narrow terraced street. These streets are not uncommon and it would be helpful if the courier could be briefed in advance.”

“Extremely excellently dry logs and burn really well. The smell is also amazing. Only downside is the sub contracted courier who delivered it cannot move the logs over our stone chip drive so they had to dump it near the road and much lugging of logs was involved. Good exercise at the time but sore a few days later. Caledonian Logistics is a good company but alway send one driver and a large lorry to rural Aberdeenshire and an electric pallet mover that hates stone chip drives. Hardy an issues in these time of gloom but nevertheless still a pain.”

“Wood is great. Delivery was not. Driver left me with the pallet and massive bag outside my gate blocking neighbours drive as he couldn’t wheel his trolley over gravel. I, a single woman had to empty the entire 250kg bag one by one and carry into my garden”

Sara , thanks for taking the time to give feedback. We are sorry about this situation. You have to confirm you read our delivery terms before checking out and it states clearly if you have gravel drive we request you order nets so they can be easily moved off the pallet and the driver can take away the pallet also. We are delighted the logs are great and if you re-order make sure to order nets and this problem won't happen.
