“We are over the moon with our Cable and Cotton lights. We wanted ambient lights which would bring into play the colours we have in our home. When we got stuck choosing colours, your customer service lady was extremely. Thank you so much.”

“First time, ordering from Cable and Cotton. Lovely to be able to choose your own colour scheme, should you wish to! Arrived quickly and was quite excited (as were my two children!), to open the box and see how they had turned out! Once I had figured out how to ‘pop’ the LED lights into the balls, they were assembled in no time! They now look fabulous, draped around an old ladder in our sitting room! Thank you! Will definitely be ordering more! 🙂”

“This is probably my tenth set of lights and I love them as ever. Just wish you still had the option of the old style lights. As these do not match up with the old ones, plus I preferred the ambient light of the old style.”

Hi dear Fran, Thank you for your lovely post - it is a bit daunting when you first attach the cotton balls to the cable lights, but once you get the hang of it it's ok! Dear Miriam, Thank you for your post. Some people do prefer the filament bulb cables but we have used a warm white for the new LEDs so that they are not too bright and certainly not 'glare-y'. “Pricing for spare bulbs + packaging are horrendous and as far I'm aware there weren't spares included in original order. Bulb blew after less than 6 months as well and had to pay for replacement myself.”

Dear Selwyn, Thank you for your post; I am really sorry you had to order more bulbs when you were within the warranty period for your cable. A small pack of spare bulbs should always have come with a filament bulb cable. If you had contacted us directly on hello@cableandcotton.com I would have sent some more spare bulbs out to you free of charge. I am therefore refunding you for the order you placed recently. Dear Laura, Thank you for your post especially regarding the plugs on the cables. Many of our customers already have spare mobile phone charger plugs which can be used with the USB ports attached to the cable, so we give people the option to either use their own or to buy a plug for £4.95 on our website.
