“I don’t know what all this fuss is about claiming these are the best. They’re ridiculously high priced, and they’re no better than cheaper ones. I can’t afford to return them after spending so much on them. Every time I use them it makes me feel ill that I spent so much for a product that’s not worth the money”

“I've always used Felco secateurs and love them because they do a good job and last for years. However this pair of new secateurs keeps sticking and won't open properly on their own which is frustrating/ Putting WD40 on the junction at the base of the blades helps for a bit but they soon start sticking again. I think the secateurs need adjusting so they open and close and work properly but there are no instructions about how to do this.”

Hi Caroline, Thanks for your feedback. Yes, it does sound like these need a minor adjustment. You can do this using the small Felco Tool, your own regular tools (Flat head screw driver, small spanner set, pliers), or the Felco 905 (video to follow).
