“Wanted to alter date within half hour of making booking and was refused point blank and then told I can pay extra administrative charge to bring date forward. Even though was a last minute Monday to Friday deal and wanted to change to the same weekend Friday to Monday instead.”

“Ants in the lodge. Total ripoff in the bars. Selling a 79p bag of maltesers for £1.45, who knows what they are charging for everything else. You should be ashamed ripping people off this.”

“What has happened to this place. Over 30years of 4/5 times a year holidays. Has it deteriated the past 2years.or what.??The Booking Staff are rude and arrogant. The Receptionists could not care whether they are there or not. The accommodation are filthy and trashed. Such a shame.....it was brilliant.”

“We were threatened 3 times to be kicked out just for playing music. The site manager and security Guards have no respect for any of the holiday makers, they talked to us horribly and made a few people cry. We will defiantly never ever come back to this place. The WORST holiday experience ever.”

“To be honest it's a site for the kids they'd some pricey entertainments provided. The touring pitches in the I field area are small as is the roads leading to them narrow. Add to that the slope to the point you've got to use concrete blocks to try and get somewhere near level. The front end was getting on for three foot from the ground. They suit 12 to 16 foot vans not 26 footers. Also I appreciate you have a captive audience at your bars but I do think your prices are extortionate. Whilst on a roll you've a massive toilet block at the top of the camping garden field but shame it lacks a pleasant scented smell. More a cowshed. Will I be back no chance. The only plus was your adventure rangers nature trails.”

“The electric kept tripping due to site over-use on our last night, 31st March, at Easewell Farm. Staff tried to help but kept passing us from the man sales office to on-site staff. We asked for a refund for this night only and again were palmed off, no-one wanted to take responsibility. Quite an expensive site and it was cold so did miss the electric. The reception was often un-manned and for a large established site we found this unacceptable. Would not use again.”

“I would rate 0 but I can’t. We used to go three times a year until this years Halloween party when staff allowed a few people who owned caravans and their friends to comondere almost every table and chairs for them and their friends (weren’t even staying on site) then when all of us who had holidays there complained staff told us to sit on any site not taken as no one was allowed to reserve tables or chairs. I tried on three separate tables to sit down and were threaded and abused by each party of people causing a lot of distress to my mental health and my children who witnessed it. We were then offered no real decent resolve the abusive people were allowed to keep their tables and continue their night while the whole reason we went on holiday was missed for us as a disabled woman can’t stabd up for two hours during kids time. We were refunded two nights but I will never go back again as I now know they will never treat customers booking holidays with them fairly!”

“I would give 1 star but the location and some of the facilities where ok. However the accommodation is so poorly maintained, and so 'tired' we left after one day ! Very very dissapointing, will not return !”

“Wasn't wheelchair friendly, beach was not within walking distance, drove to Woolacombe each day and had to pay 8 and then 6 pounds daily left a day early due to expense as we are all OAPs”

“I booked a luxury gold caravan at Twichen house but it was damp couldn't use the wardrobe as it had Mildrew as did the bedroom so had to sleep InThe lounge. It was not luxury.when I complained to the manager she was rude and unhelpful and just walked away when I was talking to her. Intend to put this on social media .”
