“I ordered from them and paid £4.95 for delivery by DPD to my place of work as usual. We are open from 7.30 to 5pm but I received an email saying they were unable to deliver the item at 15.17? It was delivered to a pick up point two miles away that I had never heard of - I have pointed out that I do not have transport, hence my preferred pick up which is just two hundred yards from work. Cut a long story short, after numerous emails, ten of which were totally ignored, to both Wonderland Models and DPD, the outcome seems to be “ that’s where it is, take it or leave it, go get it yourself”. Have asked for a refund, suffice to say we’ll have to wait and see, and this will be my last order. (Can’t post a picture cos I never received the item). Neither can I say if it was damaged - your guess is as good as mine.”

Mr Tapper - sorry for any confusion here. I have checked the website entry for the kit and this states it is a mixture of plastic and wood "The Billing Boats kit of the Waveney Class Lifeboat features an ABS plastic hull and superstructure with plastic fittings, mast in ramin wood and rigging cord."

“Easy to use website and ordering system, staff were very helpful when I rang the day after to ask if I could add to my order and they told me to place another order and they would add it to my original order so I would only have to pay 1 delivery charge. Makes a change for customer services to want to help you. Pity I could only give 5 stars because they deserve 10. I will definitely be ordering again soon from here. Definitely recommend this site.”
