“Hi. Great service, quick delivery and a good product in the Lion Guard 3 gun cabinet so thank you. However, I feel that the fixing bolts provided with the cabinet were really sub-standard. I spent a considerable time trying to make them work but they were next to useless. I went out and bought some Shield Anchor Bolt (Type M12 x 80mm Pack of 5) for £6.50 from Screwfix and they did the trick perfectly. I'd like to constructively suggest that better bolts are sent out with the cabiney in the first place. Just thought you should know! Kind regards, Chris”

“Ordered safe on 21st, arrived 23rd. That's pretty good when you live in north Scotland and habitually add an extra day to quoted delivery times! I'm possibly being a bit mean only giving four stars - if I could I would give four and a half, but there were a couple of minor snags. First, I never got a despatch email, so started getting irritated when nothing seemed to be happening. (OK, says more about me than Winterfield!). Fifteen minutes after I sent a "Where's my package?" it turned up. Couriers responsibility, but affected the experience. Second the expansion bolts supplied were not really suitable, as another reviewer has noted. That reviewer also mentioned a fitting guide. I didn't get one of those, but fitting is pretty obvious anyway. I had guidance on positioning from the FEO. The safe itself is just as described, and a very good price. Recommend Winterfield despite the gripes!”

“On line purchasing was quick and confirmation email good but delivery date was 7 to 10 days and was supposed to have a phone call to arrange date for delivery but turned up unexpected on Monday am at 0820hrs. I received phone call on my mobile but was at work but delivery van was already at my property waiting for me to take delivery. I therefore had to ask driver to leave large gun safe on my drive until I returned home. Rest of service excellent B A Moore”

“I found the whole experience very simple and very efficient. The staff were most helpful and knew their products. I purchased a gun box and ammo box on their special bundle offer which was offered to me but not sold to me. I placed the order on a Wednesday afternoon and had received the goods by early afternoon on Friday. There was no carriage charge and as I live in northern Scotland this is something that very rarely occurs. In fact we are normally charged extra carriage for being so far north. The product was better than I had expected therefore I would thoroughly recommend your company.”

“Very quick delivery, I received a phone call to confirm address as I had put in an incorrect postcode. Safe is exactly what I wanted so very pleased. The fixing bolts supplied (free) are not, in my opinion, long enough to do the job properly so I have bought better ones, but then they were free so no complaints.”
