“Ordered replacement heated wing mirror (electrically folding/adjusting) for MB C-class 250 blutec sport(4-door saloon), 64-plate. Mirror was identical in shape and design but appears thinner glass and less robust in construction. It is a few millimetres shorter in width than the original. But this was a compatible brand and not an official MB product. It took a bit of force to fit, as I suspect the dimensions of the clips were not truly accurate. However, after some gentle persuasion, managed to fit it. From an outside casual view point and the diving position, the mirror looks fine. Only on close inspection do you see it's slightly smaller than the original. But considering the huge price difference between this mirror and an official Mercedes Benz one, I'm not grumbling! And no one really notices unless you point it out.”

“Order was duplicated, so 2 arrived. Opened one and could not get it to fit as it failed to clip on. Tried to adjust the flat pieces that go behind the brackets to facilitate the actual fitting clips-made no difference. Checked against my broken mirror and the new replacement ones are approx. 4 MM bigger around the whole circumference, ie wrong part sent, and the glass was holding it off, so clips could never engage. Only had a refund for they unused one, even though the wrong ones were sent, because I had damaged the fittings! Eventually got the correct one from thewingmirrorcompany. Clicked straight on.”

“Mirror arrived on time and well packaged.....but when I came to fit the mirror I found the connectors (heated mirror) for the wires were loose.....very loose, so much so I had to use insulation tape to hold the wires and the connectors together. I also found that although at lower speeds the mirror was fine as soon as I went above 45mph the mirror would fall of the mounting and no matter how hard I tried or how secure it seemed it would keep falling off. In the end I used insulation tape to hold the mirror in place. Overall I am very disappointed with the mirror I received.”
