“"I have been a customer with William Hill for around 20 years and recently won a modest amount. However, my payment was suspended, and I was required to verify my identity through their 'live chat' system. This involved uploading photos, but the website repeatedly froze or crashed, making the process extremely frustrating. It took 30 minutes to complete the verification. Despite this, the suspended payment remained unresolved, even though deposits and other payments continued to work normally. I contacted William Hill again, and after another 30-minute session, the original payment was still declined. Strangely, the combined total of the two payments was marked as paid shortly after the live chat, but there was no explanation or apology from them. The communication was minimal, leaving me feeling more like a nuisance than a valued customer."”

“Put a bet on Italian league games last weekend and the bet won. I have written to them several times on their customer chatline, but their staff are hopeless and lie about e mailing me and solving the problem. There were 40 cards in the 10 games 38 yellows and 2 reds = 40, but the numpty settlers keep insisting there 38 (obviously they have not added on the 2 reds, despite me telling them 20 times!) Hills have no customer phone lines, do not reply to e mails, do not reply on Twitter X and have basic communication skills. They pretend to care, but are useless!”

“Change price retrospectively on a bet. William Hill have the audacity to have a term - under section 18 of their terms on conditions to say they can do this. This is equivalent for the ability to change the price of a product after you have purchased it - this is absolutely criminal and is anti customer rights. Please be wary of this is you spend one penny with this company and they are not happy with a bet you have placed. Disgraceful company”

“A big fat zero stars. Their online slot games are a rip off. Do not play them. Absolutely fixed and you must avoid at all costs their so called cash collect games, whatever name they put before it. They will rob you blind. Ps. Their customer service dept will ignore your issues if you complain and miraculously lose their connection so you have to start all over again. Funny that?”

“Terrible app. Ive been trying for 30 minutes to put a teaser and 6 teamer. Keeps asking me to accept change when this is no change. Been waiting week to bet these games and wont take ny bet. I was only able to put a 3 teamer in, but nothing else. This app everytime i use i have problems. It will add bets back on after removing them or not add bets on a parlay and automatically remove them. Just terrible”

“Being playing on William hill for a while was ok until the bad things started happening cancelling bets but keeping money and given me responds or reason why tried contacting customer support had no reply left me waiting over 45 minutes so just left they are good at taking money and keeping it and don’t want to reply or resolve they problems stay away”
