“I recently bought a secondhand lens from the Wilkinson’s Bolton store. I had occasion to phone the store and they were very professional and helpful and their online technical staff very rapid and efficient. I bought the lens by post and it arrived both very promptly and exceedingly well packed. Needless to say the condition was exactly as advertised and the lens functions perfectly.”

“The camera actually arrrived less than 24 hours after my order was placed which was a really nice surprise. The whole online ordering process was easy. The price was the best I had found from an online site that had good enough reviews to put my mind at rest about ordering from a company I hadn't used before. I received several emails updating the order and tracking process and DPD delivered it within the timeframe promised. No hessitation in recommending Wilkinson Cameras and would happily use them again.”

“Great place to purchase from, great competetive price, fast response and easy to deal with. I would only suggest they speak to the courier compnay as they left a £2000 worth product on the front of the buiding and left. I'm aware this has nothing to do with Wilkinson Cameras itseld but please feedback with them. Purchased from them for the first time and would rate Wilkinson great so far though!”

From checking the tracking with regards to your order delivery we can only apologise on behalf of the courier that the parcel was delivered without you being present to receive the parcel, image shows that the parcels was left in what we assume is the 'parcel room' for your location. “Parcel arrived the next day as requested, unfortunately the items packaging inside the outer cardboard packaging was crushed but no damage to the item I had ordered. The score reflects the packaging only. The merchandise and service would be 10.”

Thank you for your feedback, on occasions outer packaging can be damaged during transit however we do pack our orders very well ensuring there is plenty of internal packing to protect the item(s) inside, we hope you enjoy using your new equipment.

“Called into Chester branch to enquire if our Grandsons camera could be repaired. The sales assistant Ollie attempted to clean the battery compartment which our grandson had left the batteries in and one of them had leaked. Although Ollie spent quite a bit of time cleaning the terminals the camera would not operate. We were not charged for this service. Highly recommend anyone with a problem with their camera to use this shop.”

“The service I received was excellent, as was the item I purchased. The reason for my not giving a five-star rating was the amount od packaging used. I bought a lens hood, which came in its own box. This box was then placed inside a large box, which was padded with air-filled plastic bags. The use of such a large box and the padding seemed completely unnecessary, when something like a simple jiffy-type bag (at most) would have been quite sufficient. In this day and age, when we should all be cutting down on waste as much as possible, I find this degree of over-packaging very disappointing. I will not give a 'recommendation' rating as I never recommend anything to anyone, who might blame me if their experience is not as good as mine, for any reason.”

Thank you for your feedback we hope you enjoy your new equipment, with regards to packaging we reuse what packaging with receive from the suppliers so you may find the box size doesn't suit the item however it is packaged to ensure there is no damage to the item inside.

“Fantastic service! I was reluctant in buying a C+ camera but really wanted my new Fuji X-H2 so went ahead! I was shocked at how beautiful and immaculate it is, couldn't believe it, so I thought the shutter count would be high, shocked again with 162 actuations! So I can encourage everyone to give it a try, don't be afraid of the rating, the customer service is fantastic! Had some issues with Parcel force but both Graham and Kaine were really great following this up and provided a similar customer service, which was really good! Will definitely buy again and the 1yr warranty won't be matched by anyone!!! Thanks guys! Really impressed”
