I'd not heard of Wilkinson, but encouraged by good online reviews and a competitive price, I ordered a new camera. It was delivered promptly. I'm a very happy customer.

At the time of buying my product, Wilkinson Cameras were the only online store from a great many that matched the online manufacturer's sale price. All other online stores were more expensive.. Ordering was easy, the item was well packaged, and arrived promptly. I will happily use Wilkinson Cameras again in the future.

Purchased a used mint Fujifilm XF 33mm F1.4 lens for Wilkinson Cameras. It arrived the next working day and was in as new condition in a well packaged and protected box. Good to see that no plastic bubble wrap was used.

Really excellent service. Bought item very easily online and it came more quickly than expected with lots of updates and communication from Wilkinson advising me on delivery etc. Was also quite a bit cheaper than all other outlets for this item…..Recommend!!

Thanks so much for shopping with us and taking the time to leave a review. I thought I'd just take a minute to reassure you about the packaging. Most of our packaging is recycled. We re-use every bit of bubble wrap, polystyrene and void filler that comes into our warehouse to pack our parcels. We also re-use every cardboard box that comes into us and shred those we can't use to make internal protective packaging. This way we can avoid using plastics like bubble wrap. Because we try to reuse as many boxes as we can, sometimes this means that your box might seem a bit bigger than is necessary for the item you're receiving - but we think this is better than creating more waste! Please help us to continue this cycle by recycling as much of your packaging as possible. The void filler we use can be dissolved in a sink and most local councils have a cardboard recycling collection. Hope this helps and thanks again, Wilkinson Cameras

Only been dealing with Wilkinson cameras for a short while but staff are great in the Liverpool and Southport shops. Plenty of help and advice. I feel if I have any issues I can approach them and they’ll always help. Thanks guys.

I bought a 16 instant photo Polaroid 600 film and when it arrived it was 8 instant photos and which is what was showing on the website and when I contacted them, they said it was an error with their website. I returned it because it was cheaper else where and out of principle. Be careful on the website and check everything!

Hi Emma, We're sorry that one of the images shown on the listing incorrectly showed a 16 shot film. The other image, main description and price of the item did clearly show that it was an 8 shot pack. We have checked with competitors and the price is correct for this item. Due to this image error, which was immediately addressed when you raised the issue with us, you were provided a free returns label and had your item refunded upon return. We fully hold our hands up to making a mistake and adding an incorrect image and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. We do feel a 1 star review is a little harsh though and would like to ask that you would consider revising your review in light of the speed of service we provided, our swift action and immediate resolution to your problem. Good morning, We leave very detailed notes about customer interactions and orders on our systems, which has allowed me to look into this for you. I have also spoken with the staff member you spoke to so poorly on the day you called us. You placed an order for a pre-owned item located at one of our stores, choosing a next working day delivery. Your order was placed at 14.17pm on April 4th. You were emailed the following, at 14.28pm the same day, “Thank you for placing an order with us. Unfortunately, collection at the item's location has already been made for today. The order shall be dispatching tomorrow. We do apologise for any inconvenience. Kind regards, Wilkinson Cameras.” Your next working day postage charge was refunded. You called the following day, April 5th, and were extremely rude and dismissive towards our staff members. At this stage you asked for more information about the pre-owned item you had already purchased, including demanding we gave you a shutter count for the camera and becoming very rude when it was explained that it would be impossible to get this as the item was in transit. You then complained about the items included with the camera, despite these being clearly listed on the website and you not having yet received the camera. We found you extremely difficult to deal with and your attitude towards our staff members was unacceptable. Whilst we appreciate it would have been frustrating to not receive the camera on the day you hoped, we contacted you and apologised within 12 minutes and refunded the expedited postage charge. Despite our best efforts, you were consistently abusive and extremely rude towards our staff members, who remained calm and polite with you regardless of the way you were speaking to them. You did say you were going to refuse the delivery as you didn’t want the camera if it didn’t include a flash. However, seeing as we haven’t heard from you since that day and can see that your camera was successfully delivered, we assume that you are happy with your purchase. I’m afraid we will not tolerate the kind of behaviour you demonstrated towards our staff members, so we wish you the very best of luck dealing with other companies in the future. Customer service staff are not there to be shouted at and abused down the phone. Should you decide to order with us again in future, we will need to seriously consider whether to accept your order based on your treatment of our staff on this occasion. Regards, Wilkinson Cameras

I bought a Sony DSC-HX99 from Wilkinson Cameras , as it was the only available one that I could find in UK. It arrived with no problems, but on opening the package I found that the box containing the camera had been opened, as the seal was broken. When I called, the lady apologised and said that I should have been informed when I bought it, as it had been shown to customers previously, but not used. Absolutely no other issues, so will have no problem buying from them again.

I recently purchased a lens. It was dispatched with great speed and was well packaged. It arrived earlier than expected bearing in mind I chose free delivery. I have purchased from Wilkinson Cameras before and am completely happy with their service. They are a retailer that can be trusted.
