Good Morning Lee, Thank you for your feedback. From checking when your order was placed and the postage method selected, the order was placed during the time before/after the Royal Mail industrial strikes which may have delayed your parcel from arriving due to the backlogs caused from those strikes, something which is out of our control, we had mentioned this in our delivery information. Good morning, We haven't received any emails from the email address you used on the order and we do not send delayed shipment notifications - these come from DPD directly. I think perhaps you have replied directly to DPD? Please check the email address and body of the shipment notification where I'm sure you will see that this is the case. Had you have emailed us or contacted us directly your expedited (Next Working Day before 12pm) delivery cost would have been refunded and I will add a note to your order to action this today. Please also remember that every product on the website carried an "Important Delivery Information" notification, which made very clear that deliveries could not be guaranteed at the time your order was placed due to the impact on the wider delivery network as a result of ParcelForce strikes on August 26th and August 31st. Many companies, including ourselves, switched all their deliveries to alernative carriers to mitigate as many delays as possible during the strikes. However, this of course puts increased demand on the other carriers, which resulted in delays across the entire delivery network. For clarification, the product you ordered does not come with a memory card included as standard. I would ask that you consider revising your review in light of the fact that we were not contacted directly, these delays are entirely beyond our control and we did out very best to forewarn you of potential delays. I will send a separate email which gives you the option to do this. Your postage refund will be completed today and you should see it returned to your original payment method within 3 working days. Thank you for your feedback. Please do contact us on 01772 252188 or at sales@wilkinson.co.uk to provide us with more information on the above or if you do encounter any issues with your purchase. We have checked our order system and can see that you had ordered an 'Open Box' item, which may not have included the same packaging as the newly manufactured product. Open Box items are customer returns or Canon refurbished stock or have been sent to a store to demonstrate to a customer and therefore opened. For cameras, they may have taken a small number of images.. The outer box may have minor scuffs and not be perfect. The camera and box contents are "as new." Please note that this Open-Box product is Canon Refurbished Stock and is not eligible for certain Canon promotions, such as seasonal cashback offers. It does include a 12 month Canon warranty. “Living in the North West, Wilkinson Cameras is a "local" firm. I used to have a small branch near me, pre-pandemic. Visits to a store demonstrate the staff's knowledge and enthusiasm for photography. Online service is fine. I'd prefer to see perhaps a little more technical specification on some items, but I've usually done my research anyway. Ordering is very simple and payment secure. Opt for the paid next-day service and use DHL rather than free delivery with Parcel Force.”

“I required delivery to be within a short time slot a week hence. The staff were extremely helpful in ensuring this. Delivery was spot on. “The Lumix TZ95 seems to be in short supply. I tried to order this camera from John Lewis, but it was on backorder. They sent me an email to say it was back in stock and when I went online to order, they said they had 5. In the time it took me to place an order, they had all been sold. The order was still accepted, money taken and it was only when we went to collect the camera that they told us it was out of stock. I did a Google search and found Wilkinson who said they had cameras in stock. I ordered at 5pm on a Thursday before a Bank Holiday weekend and Royal Mail Strike with a likely delivery of the following Wednesday. The camera arrived before10am on Saturday 40 hours after placing the order. Excellent service. Thank you”
