I’m very sorry about this - we have a live worm guarantee so we will replace without any hassle. We hate our worms to have problems - and it’s rare but just occasionally a batch does go wrong - usually getting warm in transit.

Dear Patricia Thanks for your review. Nearly all dried mealworms are produced and shipped from China. We wanted a really good quality product produced in Europe and so that’s why our Wigglers are a bit more expensive. I hope however that your birds will really enjoy them.

“Fat balls and suet pellets were OK. Live mealworms arrived in poor condition due I think to the very hot weather in transit and significant proportion have now died.”

“Dear Wiggly Wigglers, since you have asked for a review I will say that you are very probably breaking the Trades Description Act. Calling Mealworms a great source of VEGETARIAN protein!!! I think you will find they are animal, not vegetable or mineral. I have been a great fan of Wiggly Wigglers for many years, using your products for my composting wormery, but really - you should write your own instruction sheet and not copy from an ? American site, using Farenheit instead of Centigrade....You can do better.”
“Although the worms were OK and arrived in good condition I do not think the packaging was very good. The old system of plastic pots with food was much better.
The worms also seem rather dear now.

“Package was damaged so I can only imagine how the live worms had been treated. Most were alive but a few appeared dead. Such a shame as the rest were great. Please do better packaging in future. Flimsy Card with holes around a fabric bag is not sufficient.”

“Not been happy with last 2 deliveries as quite a few were dead. Normally after cleaning them when on arrival I get a few dead every day but this months everyday there are3 or 4 dozen dead. The birds won't eat the dead so I try to make sure that I only put out live worms because I feel that they might stop coming”
