“A friend gave me the earthworm box from this company as a gift, but the boxes cannot be covered tightly, and all the earthworms escaped from the gaps. When I woke up in the morning, I found that many earthworms were dead.”
Hi Shirline, thanks for your review. Our wormeries aren't worm prisons, they aren't designed to trap the worms, when they are happy with the conditions in the kit and they learn where the food is they will stay put.
In the instructions provided there is a page that says this can happen when the kit is first set up - but provides instructions on how to prevent it - such as leaving a light on and lid off when you first set it up.
