I’m very sorry about this - we have a live worm guarantee so we will replace without any hassle. We hate our worms to have problems - and it’s rare but just occasionally a batch does go wrong - usually getting warm in transit.

I contacted the company with a legitimate query, which the supplier requests in their main page, before writing a review. I had unexpectedly received very small to minute mealworms, so out of loyalty, I emailed with enquiry. I did not expect to read the letters ‘FYI’ as if written by a preteen with attitude. With no apology, offer of solution or reassurance. Instead I was basically told, you get what you get.
There are plenty of other long standing professional suppliers of mealworms. I tried to support this company but customers are not valued or respected.

I’m really sorry to read this review for the following reasons. You worms are guaranteed to reach you in tip top condition – always. The above worms were in good condition and were despatch on the same day for next day delivery. To report a problem you just let us know straight away and send a photo and we will always replace. This issue was mentioned 7 days after the worms arrived. The “poor stock” is referring to the size of the mealworms. Mealworms are sold by weight and we have two sizes regular and mini. Obviously if you have smaller worms you have more for your money and the same weight. Rob replied to the query and understood that you wanted to know if the next order was the same size and he explained they do vary. He is a lovely chap and mortified someone would think him rude, so I’m sorry that you feel this way. He was attempting to explain that there is a natural variation.
