“I’ve got a cracking looking bathroom which is a positive…. However there have been several issues along the way since the order. Wrong vanity unit was inputted, meaning I had to drive to Glasgow to get a replacement floating unit which I thought I ordered/requested. The tiles which showed in stock were not, meaning I had to source elsewhere, at very short notice, without any real help from WD. The wc flush valve was faulty - we bought another elsewhere. The shower draining valve was faulty resulting in back up, overflow and taking tiles up, replacing and a days labour charge. Customer service was not the most engaging and “can do” so whilst our initial visit there dealing with Peter in Edinburgh was very positive and we have a lovely looking bathroom, the nuts and bolts were pretty dire from a customer service perspective and ultimately faulty goods have cost me an extra few hundred quid, so not a happy camper!!!”

“My original visit was back in October 2023 for new shower wall boards. The lady serving me appeared knowledgeable but didnt write anything down and as I had looked at quite a few things, I suggested that she may want to do this to ensure my order was correct, but she assured me this was not necessary. Anyway, off to the till we go she reads out the order and price and I duly paid. When the goods arrived the shower wall boards were the wrong ones. MY FAULT FOR NOT CHECKING, I realise that and I should have done so, however the wall boards were of a similar name to my previous ones so I unfortunately assumed she had put the correct ones through. I coudlnt return these as my plumber was starting the next day. Hey ho lesson learnt, always check your order.”

“The toilet basin purchased was all fine until Plumber opened box to find fixing bolts and brackets not included in box he had to purchase somewhere local to us in z Hamilton! At my expense? Main thing is this could have been going further up north and to find these fixing products not in box could be more detrimental on installation? Other than everything was perfect! Better to know than not to know as it’s a Supplier problem to yourselves the problem lay with ! Yours William Cannon Hamilton , South Lanarkshire! !”

“This is my third time using wholesale domestic and it still hasn’t failed me. Beautiful shower room right down to tiles and grout.great service, The quality is excellent and what I would expect.customer service is excellent and after sales team excellent. I would definitely recommend.”

“The lady that served us was pleasant and helpful, I asked the assistant if that would give us a good heat for a small/average room, she seemed to know what she was talking about with her reply?? However we had to return the radiator as the plumber said it wouldn’t have enough heat output for the room. So had to return it and go elsewhere as you didn’t have much choice or stock. To be fair it is a bathroom showroom so that’s maybe why you don’t have many radiators Returns staff were excellent quick and efficient”

“There was a very good selection in the store and we were able to find something that suited our space. Delivery was as agreed and when we had a damaged sink it was replaced without question.”

“On the whole very good. Good value for money but had to wait quite a few weeks for some items. Also when one item arrived it was wrong and had to be returned. Generally the staff were helpful”

“We have used Wholesale Domestic several times, most recently for the purchase of items to refurbish our bathroom in November 2023. The staff in the showroom were patient and helpful in assisting us to decide on what we wanted to order and we felt that the items were of good quality and competitevly priced. On this latest occasion we did have some initial problems with damaged items being delivered,namely a slightly chipped shower tray and some gloss finish on the bathroom cabinetry coming off when removing the protective film. The items were delivered by the companies own delivery crew and it has to be noted that the delivery team were observed to be careful so I dont think the damage was their fault. We had a slightly shaky start with customer services, however they eventually rectified all issues completely and to our entire satisfaction. No complaints and would certainly use them again”
