“Struggling with a paint-locked screw in a window hinge, my thoughts flashed back to dealing with a rusted bolt on a Vauxhall Viva 35 years ago, and how my father in law had introduced me to an impact driver to solve the problem. Trouble is today if you Google "impact driver" all you get is a power tool that still just chews the screw head. Eventually with the help of image search I realised that Silverline (the manufacturer) focused the search, and landed at White Rose, who had one, delivered in three days, and with one clout the job was done. Proper tool!”

“Unfortunately the two smaller-size Torx screwdrivers have handles and blades which are out of alignment, by several degrees. No big deal, it doesn’t render these hand tools any less useful; they are good value and White Rose’s service has been admirable in these difficult, locked-down times”

“Good quality hex keys at a great price, only minor detail is that the sizes are on the other side of the hex keys whilst in the storage case, meaning you have to turn them over to see the size first. Although you can guess the size once you use them a few times.”
