“this is a general review of Wheelspin Models. rather than focusing on 1 product i have purchased. after buying several hundred pounds worth of brand new rc car and other after market parts i have to say i am left disappointed. having used the car just a handful of times i have been plagued with mechanical issues, things that should not be breaking so soon have come loose or broken but the biggest issue i have is from the batteries. having bought 2 3s lipo batteries totaling nearly £150, both batteries have warped and no longer charge after less than 3 months of fairly light use and careful handling. this is unacceptable and has left a bitter taste in my mouth and as a result i am now left with an rc car with no power as i can be buying new batteries every couple of months. an honest review based on my own experiance.”

“#1104812 They give me a wrong item i reached out and they stated to send me the correct item # 1104061 however i received xh balance board totally different what i ordered i reached out to them again and they just told me “ Images are for illustration purposes and while provided in good faith they can be subect to change. It will all work fine and will be good for you to use 🙂 /Nicky” i ordered etronix balance board because it doesnt have a rubber/foam case , it have a hard plastic casing and it doesnt come in a etronix plastic package.I checked on the other store in modelsport they sell the same product and have the same pictures but really comes in a etronix plastic package and hard plastic casing board. The purpose i ordered the part number ET0233 is that i dont like the etronix power pal3 included balance boards quality which is a foam board. But they still send me the same board.”

Hi, I'm sorry to see you're less than happy here. Whilst I fully hold our hands up - this board was originally listed incorrectly on our site, we were prompt to rectify this and after speaking with you to find out what you actually needed, immediately sent you some boards out that would suit your needs (free of charge). Yes, these do now come with a foam backing and a small plastic case. I'm afraid minor spec changes like this can creep in from time to time as different batches come through (bear in mind, we are just a retailer - we don't manufacture these...!) And you were advised correctly, images are there to help you and guide you but sadly on small obscure items like this, may not be 100% correct (but of course, the product will still function as intended). Our store manager did spend a great deal of time talking with you trying to help you charge your battery - that is what we're here for. It sounds like something else is amiss - we're happy to help, but I am guessing from the negative review you'd rather take things up on your own, so please feel free to do so....! We remain happy to help if we're asked - as with any customer. I would say if you'd like our help but still need some more assistance - just ask and we're happy to help. Leaving a public review claiming we're not being helpful after we've spent a great deal of time going above and beyond - I guess that's just something we'll bear in mind next time we try to help...! “The product I got was defective and brittle and broke on the first run I contacted wheelspin for advise on what to do and the first thing I was told we don't replace crash damage I said its brittle and probably a defective product they were having none of it. I contacted horizon customer support sent pictures they agreed it was not supposed to be like that and sent me a part to fix it. I have been purchasing my products from rochester rc and have had great interactions and free delivery its great highly recommend.”

“Postal service non existent,received this survey before I've received my parts,phoned them up to enquire about it and they say should receive by early next week,6/7 working days.going to give appliance electronics my custom in future!!”

“Dealt with these guys a few times. For my first order they took the money immediately but I got an email a few days later saying they couldn't supply and had credited the money back to my account - fair enough. Second time I tried to order something from them I thought I'd be wise and email them first for stock levels first. They replied saying they would look into it. A week later after hearing nothing I emailed them again, they replied saying one item was in and they were still waiting for the other. I asked them to email me back when both items were in stock as I didn't want to order separate due to their ludicrous postage costs....1 year later I'm still waiting for that email! Finally I'm ordering a whole bunch of spares and a new plane - they say on their website they would price match but then when it came down to it they refused - they said about the other two well reputed cheaper shops "I think they have a price error on that item as it's well under cost". Surely you can't just pick and chose if you are going to price match based on other people's stock "seeming" too cheap!? Ugh...at the end of the day they do have some stuff that is cheaper than elsewhere, however I'm so wound up by the poor customer service that I just refuse to buy from these guys again (or try to buy from them!).”
