“This is a really great service. We had an urgent requirement for a wheelchair after my daughter broke her leg. We had no idea how long we would need the wheelchair for (2 months in the end), so the flexible nature of the contract was ideal. The wheelchair was spotless when we got it and it comes and goes in a really handy box with straps that you simply wheel the chair in/out of and no requirement to try to find packing tape and bubble wrap.”

“Hired a knee scooter, so glad I did it made getting about indoors much easier and able to carry out tasks as leaves hands free. Comfortably to use. Even went around supermarket on it. Staff excellent very helpful, Good delivery service. Would recommend.”

“What a life saver this company is, I was unable to walk for a few months until I had spinal surgery. If it had not been for this wheelchair hire I would have been totally housebound. The chair enabled me to get out and about, go to hospital appointments independently, using public transport. Very customer focused, I did every thing over the internet on their website, very prompt answers. I wish more companies were this focused.”

“This was the family trip of a lifetime, for two elderly grandparents, with mobility issues, to the USA for a College Graduation. After exhausting just about every awkward and overpriced option, I stumbled across Wheelfreedom by accident and am so glad I did. I ordered two lightweight chairs and from that moment, to the moment they were collected two weeks later, I couldn't be happier. The chairs proved invaluable and were folded and unfolded simply in seconds, great for at the aeroplane door etc. Overall a great service from start to finish and would recommend this Company to anybody else with similar needs Many Thanks”

“Thank heaven for wheel freedom.after purchasing a mobility scooter off of another company .had it 3 wks and had to go bk .(unfit for purpose).i got in touch with wheelfreedom. All i can say what a delight to deal with such a friendly company.a guy called Danny was very pleasent and so very helpful.so glad i ended going to them”

“Having had major foot surgery and not being a spring chicken(age 80) I was very dubious that I'd manage the knee scooter recommended by the physiotherapist.However,it was amazing ,I felt quite safe and was able to retain some semblance of independence.The staff at wheelfreedom were very helpful,the arrangements for delivery and collection were so simple..I hired it for 6 weeks and the cost was really reasonable.I quite miss it !”

“Needed a wheelchair for my wife after she’d broken her ankle. Helpful when ordering. Wheelchair arrived the following morning. Wheelchair was perfect for short term use. It was collected the day after the collection request phone call. Highly recommend this company”

“A most efficient and customer friendly service. Delivered by Courier on time and equally collected as detailed in letter. The chair was an enormous asset to me on our recent River Cruise and it made land excursions within reach. The wheelchair was very suitable for my needs and extremely comfortable.”

“The chair itself was wonderful and the service was just as they said it would be. Delivered early on one day and collected early a week later. What I took exception to was being charged for two weeks (which they claim is standard) when I only needed the chair for one week as my mother was visiting for one week but I HAD to pay for two weeks! The chair was returned after a week so I and someone else is paying for the second week. Not good business practice. And so for that reason I won’t be recommending this service. The Red Cross do chairs for a donation which I will use the next time.”

Thank you for your review and I’m pleased to hear our service met your expectations. We would love to be able to offer a minimum charge of just one week (£12.50). Each of our chairs goes through a deep clean and service between hires, which in itself costs us more to undertake than the £12.50 and therefore unfortunately makes a one week charge impossible. I appreciate your feedback and understand the frustration, we will keep this under review incase there comes a time when we are able to make this change. “Excellent service nothing too much trouble polite friendly staff. One small criticism I think you should be more proactive with reference to Dvla registration and supply the forms without being asked when required (having said that you did supply when I asked for them). Delivery good in fact before agreed time but phoned to confirm they could be early.”
