“I found the knee scooter a god send. It helped me be mobile around the house, doing the little jobs home, although I don't know what the dog made of me whizzing around! the service from wheel freedom was second to none and I would recommend that anybody else with a leg injury or disability contact them”

“The company itself was helpful & the equipment very useful however, the delivery company was poor. The portable ramp arrived a day late due to being sent to the wrong place & made it very difficult for me to go out on the day it should have come. Equipment collection was very poor indeed. I waited in from 9-5 as instructed & they didn't come. At 5 pm I needed to post an important letter so rung Wheelfreedom for advice. They suggested I rung the courier which I did. The man was rude, offhand & unapologetic saying they'd be there by 6 pm. In order to catch the post WF suggested leaving things outside, so I did. On returning home, I brought everything in & the courier arrived at 8.30 pm!! Needless to say I thought this service bad. WF were sympathetic & I am grateful for being able to borrow the chair & ramp when I needed.”

“My specialist recommended that I contact Wheel Freedom to get a knee scooter to help me be more independent whilst I was at home recovering at home after an Achilles injury after playing football. A knee scooter I thought, you must be having a laugh! Well, what a god send it has been, it has enabled me to feel and be more mobile at home, so I can make my self a coffee, cook etc, plus the kids and the dog thought it was fun watching me! Seriously, it made a huge difference to me and I want to thank wheel freedom for helping me and providing such a great little aid to my recovery. I'm packing in football though so England will have to do without me this summer!”

“Easy to place order. Staff helpful and answered phone quickly. Delivery was next day. Small minus for knee scooter obviously being well used and instructions for construction not that clear.”

“Your prompt next day delivery was greatly appreciated when due to a sudden the prompt next day delivery of the wheelchair was much appreciated when due to sudden illness we needed a wheelchair.instructions were clear and the whole process was very straightforward.the collection of the wheel chair was simple to arrange and again done very efficiently .Thank you BB Ps the only difficulty was trying to leave this review!!!”

“Unfortunately the wheelchair provided had problems. Within 5 minutes of using it the tyre came off one wheel and did this a few times over my holiday. In addition the front small wheels continually turned sideways preventing the wheelchair moving forward. I won't be using it again.”

We do offer a next day replacement service however a tyre coming off is not something that should ever happen in the first place. All our chairs go through a thorough service between hires and we will be investigating this further to make sure there is no chance of a similar event happening in the future. “I was recommended the knee walker by the physio at the hospital, after having surgery on my Achilles tendon. It has been a life saver. I live alone, but the knee walker has given me a degree of independence enabling me to stay in my own home. I would recommend the knee walker to anybody who is non weight bearing, and also would recommend this company, as the delivery was made promptly and pick also on time. Many, many thanks.”
