“Great service . Basic wheelchair - but you can get more specialist ones- delivered to my door within 48 hours and collected when I had finished Brilliant and hassle free”

“I have used this service twice now and on both occasions the wheelchair has been delivered to a holiday cottage on a Saturday without any issues. It would be nice if collections could also be arranged for a Saturday as well. On both occasions the wheelchair had to be left until the following Monday and I had to rely on the holiday cottage owners being happy with this. However overall the service is very good and I would recommend them if you need to hire a wheelchair.”

“BRILLIANT. from the initial phone call and the service to the delivery and collection. Wheel chair was in perfect condition. Was light weight for getting in and out of the car and very comfortable. Made holidaying so easy.”

“We needed a short-term replacement wheelchair for an elderly relative whilst her chair was mended. Wheelfreedom were really helpful on the phone, the equipment was delivered quickly and was easy to unpack / pack, then collected efficiently. A very good service. Thank you.”

“Hiring a wheelchair could not have been easier. It arrived as stated the next day (and collection was the same). It was exactly as described, with an extension for elevated leg rest. The lady on the 'phone told me that it was easier to put up and fold up than a child's buggy, and she was right. Lightweight enough for us to lift up and down, but supportive enough for my teenager. Easy to push and steer. Gave us a lot of freedom, and enabled my daughter to get out and about in the summer holidays with ease. I would not think twice about hiring one again from here.”

“The staff who answered the phone were always pleasant and helpful, the product was just as described and easy to use, and its delivery and pick up went smoothly. They made it more bearable that I had broken my foot and had difficulties moving about. Thank you!”

“Neither my consultant or the nurses in the Day Surgery Unit had ever seen the knee scooter before. It deserves far wider publicity. Faced with the prospect of two weeks' complete bed rest after foot surgery, the scooter gave me the dignity of being able to get to the loo from the bedroom unaided, even on the first night home. Words cannot do the scooter justice in delivering independence and control in what were otherwise very limiting conditions. The pad is rather hard, but this is easily solved by tying on a small cushion. Similarly, with arthritic hands, the excellent (and tight) brakes were a little difficult to apply and release, but using both hands for each one in turn was the answer. The only problem with the knee scooter is it leads you to think you can do more than you should do, post-operatively, with the freedom it provides. Don't overdo things too soon, patience is a virtue! Can't thank Wheel Freedom enough.”

“I discovered you when looking for wheelchair hire in Scotland only to find that you were countrywide. I have been using you since vthe end of May and have always found your staff, kind, courteous and very helpful. Your pricing structure is excellent in that the price reduces according to the length of time you are used for. I will certainly recommend Wheelfreedom to others.”
