“V Pleased with prompt delivery but not happy that pickup was between 9+5. However my son in law was able to find out what time the driver expected to arrive, so thank you for the help given to us. I would use you again if the need arises.”

“I found the wheelfreedom scooter a revelation, I had surgery to my foot and needed a toe to knee cast for six weeks. The hospital provided a zimmer frame which meant I couldnt hold anything from the kitchen into the living room. The knee scooter enabled me to get around without causing pain in my hands and shoulders from the zimmer frame and I could also carry things from room to room as the scooter could easily be used and controlled with one hand for short journeys. It was lightweight thus enabling me to get out and about as it also folded to fit into the boot of a car. All in all a fantastic alternative to crutches or a frame and I would recommend it to anyone with lower leg injuries. The service provided was efficient and speedy for both delivery and pick up. I would not hesitate to use wheelfreedom again should the need arise.”

“An excellent service. Very friendly helpful information via a telephone call. Service was delivered and collected as stated. The wheelchair worked very well but one of the handles was a little lose and one of the foot rests did not stay in the up position when the individual was getting in and out of the chair and the footrest strap was twisted. These were small problems and not severe enough to call for help but perhaps a more thorough check of the wheelchair needs to be made before leaving the depot. Overall I found the service very good.”

“Excellent service from Wheel Freedom for the hire of the wheelchair while my husband was recovering from a foot injury. Easy to order, easy delivery and pick up. The wheelchair was comfy but I did find it difficult to wheel him over the slightest pavement rise - thicker wheels might have made it easier to handle. I would certainly hire from Wheel Freedom again.”

“Very prompt responses to communications. Wheelchair delivery was late. It was due 8-12 and it came at 1pm. collection time was awkward because it was a 9-5 window. Should be half a day and possible to be phoned ahead to advise of closer timing.”

“Service and delivery excellent However had several issues with the chair for example leg support didn't Work and clearly had not been checked,another was sent next day but I had to adjust to fit. Back on left hand side kept collapsing and again clearly had not been checked prior to dispatch”

“The company itself was helpful & the equipment very useful however, the delivery company was poor. The portable ramp arrived a day late due to being sent to the wrong place & made it very difficult for me to go out on the day it should have come. Equipment collection was very poor indeed. I waited in from 9-5 as instructed & they didn't come. At 5 pm I needed to post an important letter so rung Wheelfreedom for advice. They suggested I rung the courier which I did. The man was rude, offhand & unapologetic saying they'd be there by 6 pm. In order to catch the post WF suggested leaving things outside, so I did. On returning home, I brought everything in & the courier arrived at 8.30 pm!! Needless to say I thought this service bad. WF were sympathetic & I am grateful for being able to borrow the chair & ramp when I needed.”

“First I would like to say the service and staff at Wheelfreedom is great. I hired the knee scooter which is a great idea to aid mobility for below the knee injuries/surgery which require total non-weightbearing on the injured leg. However, once you are in this position you realise there are a few design issues which could be sorted out: 1) You need somewhere to attach your crutches in case you need to get off the scooter. 2) Suspension! Apart from totally smooth surfaces there needs to be some softness in the wheels to protect the knee. 3) If the knee pad was offset depending on which leg is injured it would make it easier for the good leg to fit in.”

“Over all good, light and easy to manoeuvre. Only drawbacks, one foot rest was difficult to lock in position and the handle fixing lugs were tricky. Thanks again and should the need arise, you would be our first port of call as this was our second occasion to use your service.”

“Everything was excellent except the fact that you were unable to say whether the pickup time for returned equipment would be morning or afternoon. I know that you may not know till the evening before the pick up day, but most collection /delivery firms give some idea , say in 3 hour slots, by texting the clients mobile . My daughter waited in all day for the collection man to arrive. I phoned at 17.10 to ask what was happening and was told that the driver had called at the house 15 minutes earlier but the door bell hadn't been answered . My daughter therefore had to wait in the house for most of the next day as you had to come again the next day. This is wasting your and our time. 1) Please give some idea of the time slot 2) If no answer to doorbell tel the house number or a mobile. Other delivery firms do this already.”
