“I hired a wheel scooter when I broke my ankle & was in plaster below the knee, non weight bearing for 6 weeks. Crutches hurt my wrists & shoulders & were so awkward when doing things in the kitchen etc - the scooter gave me the freedom to wheel about downstairs in the house and sit or kneel on it whilst preparing a sandwich etc, then steer one-handed back to the table-something that was impossible with crutches. They also speeded up answering the doorbell! I would strongly recommend one to anyone with a lower limb injury or surgery. I have already told people when I returned to fracture clinic how great it was. The company were very efficient & delivery/collection exactly as promised. Thank you wheel freedom !”

“This was a very easy way to hire a wheelchair for our holiday. The ordering form was clear and easy to fill in, the chair was delivered when it was due, and collected when I asked. I would definitely recommend”

“the wheelchair was perfect and easy to move around in for me having broken my right femur. My husband had no problem when he had to do some pushing and easy to fold up and put in the car boot for trips out. it would have been good to know earlier that the brakes on both wheels just need pressure to apply. It managed to set off security alarms in Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisons , however I was never stopped by security. it was such a help and preveted me from being housebound and depressed Liz :)”

“Excellent customer service. Sturdy reliable scooters. Wish we could confirm bookings via email as for me it is always an international call from a cell phone. I would recommend lights or little flashing lights - front and back - as well as a larger basket.”

“The service provided by Wheelfreedom was fantastic - the staff very helpful and no challenges in delivery or collection, a smooth process throughout. The service of renting a wheelchair is great and it was of tremendous use to us, we fully utilised the service. The price for renting is very reasonable and great that it includes international insurance - again the process was very simple. The wheelchair was easy to use and to transport and I will definitely recommend this service to everyone. Thank you to all you assisted and made the process simple and efficient.”

“When my husband broke his achilles tendon and we had a holiday booked touring Bruges and Amsterdam, I knew he needed a wheelchair. I found Wheelfreedom on the internet and found the website very useful in deciding what exactly he needed. Ordering by phone was straightforward, the wheelchair arrived exactly as requested and when we no longer needed it, it was collected. It was a huge help to both of us and made our holiday possible. “Excellent service throughout the whole process. I needed to hire a wheelchair at very short notice and it arrived really quickly, I gave a date and it was there. Staff response was exceptional and couldn't ask for more. Would I use them again, definitely. If you need to hire anything then please use them you will be as satisfied as I am. thank you.”

“I was very satisfied with the service I received from start to finish. Upon ringing regarding the footrest having lost a screw, another one was despatched to me immediately so little inconvenience was experienced by me. Excellent service all round and I would definitely recommend Wheelfreedom.”
