Hi Lord Sugar Thank you for taking the time to write a review after we supplied a starter motor for your boat, shipped out to Florida overnight. We were happy to be able to help and we are pleased we seem to have been the only company to stock the rare item you required. We later discovered you had put out an appeal on Twitter to help you find one but with no luck, so we were pleased when we were contacted and could solve the problem for you straight away.

“My Toyota Landcruiser 1994 diesel required a starter motor. I spoke to David at West Lancs on a Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, although he didn't have one in stock he could get one for me, he contacted me on the Monday to tell me it would arrive on the Wednesday. It arrived well packed, perfect fit, excellent price. Good old fashioned service 5* +, I would recommend and certainly use your company again. Thank you again Mike Mike Howard Services Nottingham”

Hi Deryck Sorry about your experience with our company was unsatisfactory. As an alternator supplier, our only references are application guides when you don't provide us with a part number from the old unit. In this case, sadly it was wrong. We obviously refund any credits ASAP but unfortunately, when items are returned without the necessary paperwork, it is difficult to trace where they have come from. We, therefore, have to wait for the customer to contact us so we can match up the return to that customer. Also, time taken for parcels to arrive, including weekends must also be factored in. Our policy is to refund ASAP, but the credit card companies can take up to 5-10 days to show the refund on your account. This is totally beyond our control.
