The workshops were being used as a hook for Y5 classes who are about to study Shakespeare. The pitch was perfect for all children and they were fully engaged throughout the entire session. The professional actor leading the sessions was encouraging to all the children and very quickly assessed individual levels of confidence. Even the most challenging children participated fully and with great enjoyment. It was clear how confidence had grown amongst all the children by the end of the session. Most importantly, all the children were buzzing afterwards.

Nikita was fantastic. She was organised, enthusiastic and had the children engaged throughout. The session linked to the text excellently and included a range of moves. This meant all children were able to access the session and were challenged. Most importantly, th children all had fun.

The children really enjoyed the active elements of these workshops. The workshop leader was enthusiastic and got the children excited to take part. Being based on the theme of Climate Change, the activities did assume the children would have prior knowledge which was fine for Year 5 who were studying Climate Change in Science lessons, but was a bit too complex for the younger Year 2s to understand fully. It would be useful for teachers to know what prior knowledge is needed before the session.

Have visual aids to support the music. This would help the children to identify better with the characters. Other than that, the children enjoyed the music and the input. It was a fantastic day, thank you. Thank you also for being very flexible and accommodating with re-arranging the date.

We booked workshops for our four-form entry junior school over the course of three and a half days. The workshops were excellent and well-structured - run by a professional actor, who was incredibly engaging. Every child felt included and even those who are often reluctant to do drama activities were focused and enthusiastic for the whole 50 minutes. Thank you for providing the children with a really memorable experience - we will definitely be rebooking next year!

David was absolutely fantastic. There has been so much positive feedback from children and staff! He handled our trickier customers with such ease and provided really engaging and creative workshops for all our year groups. We would love to have him back in the future.

We enjoyed the science drama workshop as part of science week in our school. It was a great way to enjoy something a bit different during the week and get the children to discuss our planet and the environment. All year groups, from 1 to 6 loved it and we would highly recommend it to other schools.

Wow! What a fabulous, engaging and inspiring workshop. Our children were engaged from the moment they started and didn't want it to end. The children learnt a lot and will now use this information and inspiration to produce some fantastic English work, that links to Geography. I would highly recommend Hannah; she had so much energy and hooked the children's attention and interests.

We had a fantastic Shakespeare workshop from Jo on 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. It was for Reception-Year 2 children and each session was pitched at exactly the right level. Jo was enthusiastic, professional and engaged brilliantly with our children. We have been using West End in Schools for our Shakespeare workshops for a few years, and have always been very happy!

What a fabulous day! West End in Schools provided us with an increidbly professional, enthusiastic and experienced practitioner who knew exactly what drama strategies to employ and when. The children had a blast and learned a great deal about their chosen book to boot. I would definitely book again, and would whole-heartedly recommend to other schools who are wishing to provide their children with the opportunity to dissect and explore chosen texts dramatically.

Reception class thoroughly enjoyed the Where the Wild Things Are dance and drama workshop. Every single child was engaged and joined in, even those who normally struggle to access school activities. Thank you! The workshop was great! Well pitched and all of the y2 were engaged and enthusiastic. It was lovely to see the children who are usually more reserved, enjoy the immersion in the story through dance and drama. The leader was great in keeping their focus and encouraging them to explore ideas. A lovely afternoon!

Overall, the feedback from staff and the children was incredibly positive- thanks so much for another great World Book Day drama celebration! Nursery- The children enjoyed it but it was a challenge for the younger ones ( 3 year olds) and those with attention difficulties as it was a 50 minutes session of talking and acting. Possibly some props could help keep the interest going? Or maybe a shorter session for the younger ones? But it was well received and we did enjoy it. Reception- The workshop was really enjoyable for the children. All the children participated in the interactive storytelling of Jack and the Beanstalk. The lady managed them particularly well, throughout the workshop. She left the children with a thought-provoking question. Form 1- The children really loved the Ruby's Worry workshop. It inspired them to open up about their worries more confidently. She was very engaging and had a great manner with the kids. Hope to see you again next year! Norfolk House School, Muswell Hill

Fantastic and enjoyable for all ages. Anthony was professional yet fun and all of our children were engaged in the dance. The children enjoyed the music and the method in which they had to learn the steps. A great way to wrap up World Book Day celebrations! Thank you. M. Picton

The workshop was fantastic. Hannah was very friendly and pitched the session well. The book was relevant and linked well to our pledge of ‘be a performer’. When the children reviewed the workshop in their pledge booklet, many of them ticked the dark green smile to show they had a brilliant time. 2 days later a child commented that their worries had gone and linked that to the session, which shows it must have had a real impact- Teacher 1 The children absolutely loved the book, Ruby's worry. Hannah was so engaging and enthusiastic with the children. She really helped them to understand how to deal with their emotions and worries, what they can do to help themselves ad who they can talk to. They also had lots of fun with the games- Teacher 2
