“We loved our Shakespeare Workshop with Vicky! She led the children in a wide range of activities based on 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and ensured each child felt valued and heard throughout the session. The children loved showing off their knowledge about the play and demonstrated great creativity as they responded to her prompts. We can't wait to have another workshop!”

“A brilliant workshop which engaged the children from all year groups. The simple language used to explain Shakespeare's language and plays was effective as all children were able to understand the play they were studying. There was plenty of movement and opportunities to practise acting skills. The children really enjoyed the chance to be different characters. The workshop leader was very accommodating and approachable about the varying needs of the children and was amenable to adapting the workshop to allow those children to access the session.”

They learnt about Shakespeare’s comedy play, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ through story telling, actions and drama. Pupils were enthralled throughout, enjoying the active nature of the sessions and the humour. Jimmy kept all pupils engaged whilst developing their drama skills and knowledge of Shakespeare.”

“The team at West End in schools is extremly well organised and makes the event so easy to run. From the office staff to the member delivering the workshop on the day the oragnisation was excellent. The children loved taking part in the Romeo and Juliet workshop and to see children of all ages and abilities accessing and performing Shakespeare's work was a real triumph and one that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.”
