“I've been buying meat from West Coast Food for over 18 months and have nothing but praise for the quality of service provided. As for the quality of the produce ..... well now I am a bit choosy and if I hadn't been satisfied with the first order it would have been a one off!! The quality of the meat is definitely top of the range! I've bought a range of produce from Venison Loin to Fillet Steak to minced Lamb and as a Welshman, and a lover of Welsh Mountain Lamb, I have to confess to buying Scotch Lamb .... which can only be bettered by Lofoten Island lamb in Norway!! Great service and great quality guys.”

“I ordered a turkey crown, pigs in blankets and stuffing to be delivered before Christmas. Everything was delivered as promised and was well packaged to keep cool. Very happy that everything was easy to cook and was also very tasty - made preparing Christmas lunch much less stressful. All in all, very happy with the service and with the quality of the food. Highly recommended.”

“Not as described. Bought some bacon on the strength of their website’s description of it: “...proper bacon that doesn’t evaporate in the pan or leave a white trail as it cooks...” So was surprised when the bacon arrived that it had added water, even called them to confirm I’d been sent the right order. Cooking it then, loads of water came out and the bacon shrank about a third in the pan, as for no white trails, by the time it was cooked it looked like the scene in the film Alien where the android (Ash) is covered in his synthetic white blood, not pretty and far from “proper” bacon. Only redeeming thing is that is tasted pretty good, so one star for that. Given it’s just the usual supermarket quality “wet-cured” bacon, you’re better off just buying from the supermarket (who don’t have a 2kg minimum order either).”

“Having made two phone calls and an email to check their skinny Xmas pack was gluten free, I ordered it. The day it arrived I was concerned sausage and stuffing not labelled gluten free. As two coeliacs having the food, this was very important. Called and was told it was not gluten free. I advised I had asked several times and been told it was. I was left out of pocket - on 28th dec, I’ve yet to receive the promised refund - and having to source gluten free stuffing and sausage from elsewhere At eleventh hour. No apologies and tone of call was it was my fault food was not gluten free. Their website states ‘all the skin I range is gluten free’. Also I was charged £5.95 for delivery and website states orders over £75 free delivery and my order was £82. So unimpressed and will not sue this company again.”

“Capon arrived safely as promised - and was excellent, much enjoyed by all who ate it. The person to person liason was excellent - if a bit delayed - due I was told to the busy lead up to Xmas.”

“Ordered the Christmas food pack which included turkey crown, ham joint plus all the trimmings from West Coast Butchers and the quality of the food was amazing. Thank You West Coast Butchers for making our Christmas Dinner amazing. We will definitely be ordering again for next year. 10 out of 10 for the quality of food and price.
