“I've used Webuybooks a few times now, and have always found their app straightforward. So far, there have been zero issues with them. I really appreciate knowing the value of something up front. It can be a pain finding boxes and packing for shipment, but otherwise, it's a simple process. Payment is also prompt, and they do a great job of keeping you updated on the status of the trade. Looking forward to using them again in the future.”

“I have done business with Webuybooks on more than one occasion. Their customer service is good, with a very fast response time. They DONT DELAY payments, and that is the main thing that stands out in my mind with them. I am giving them a 5 star on this occasion.”

“One of the worst booksellers I have ever bought from - and I buy all of the time! In my opinion they are fraudulent in their descriptions of books. See attached, some photos of a book I bought from them through Amazon. The description was 'Good. A slight tan to page edges'. In reality the book is ruined with heavy ink annotation and is very tatty. They defended this by referring to Amazon's definition of 'good' - but then why mention the tan to page edges? The answer is obvious: to mislead customers into thinking that the book is otherwise undamaged. The service is a con - buyers beware!!!”

“Ordered 'The Hotel on the Roof of the World' by Alec Le Sueur on 11/01/21, via Amazon. I live in France (I suppose I should have ordered the original, in French!). The book arrived yesterday, 29 January. Deliveries are taking longer to reach us from the UK these days unfortunately. The book is in good condition despite being second-hand; I have begun reading it, with pleasure. Thank you. I shall be happy to use your services again.”

“Using this service is better than taking books to the dump. More books are rejected than accepted and there are times where one thinks a book is worth more than the 12p being offered. On the whole a good experience and an easy service to use.”

“At the end of the day I did get paid very quickly for the books I sent. However, I did find the website challenging. I first tried to scan the books which worked to a degree but then when I wanted to finish off the selling part on their website from my computer I got lost. I was helped when I asked for it by webchat. So I ended up manually putting in the ISBN number. What I also found disappointing was the number of books that they rejected. I know they explained they won't accept them if they have too many of a particular book in the warehouse. But it was a lot of effort just to offload a few books. Once you click on the sell button the books you have agreed to sell disappear and I was unable to find the list of the books on their website. So if they do keep this list in your account they need to direct you to the place. If they don't they need to set that up. Because of the issues I encountered I won't use them again. But if you want to deal with them they came across as a genuiune honourable set up.”
