The only thing I don't agree with is, you offer one price, but when you take your car to sell you deduct money off for so many things that I didn't agree with. I was offered 1380.00 but then offered 845.00 that's a huge difference. I agree for some of them I.e MOT less than 6 months but saying I had dents, that's not true.

The method of valuation when you get to the office is not explained during the on line valuation process. I was surprised that a 5 year old car was expected to be in showroom condition when presented for purchase. A few stone chips and normal wear and tear reduce the category and thus valuation significantly. I wonder if I had paid a professional valet company a few hundred pounds they would have still had the original price reduced by £500. They don’t add anything on for pre paid services either. Surely when you are selling a car to the trade they should expect to prepare it for the showroom. I’m not so sure that Phillips reputation is as good with me today as it was yesterday.

Left waiting at the office I had made arrangements, had a call whilst there to go to another office. Then offered two hundred pounds less than originally offered because of a biased viewing (said the car was very good with low mileage) giving it only a 3 out of 5 and paid £49.99 for the privilege. Not happy.

Customer service was great but price was way lower than expected.

It is a speedy service and very convenient. Be aware that the price initially given is subject to a £50 admin fee, as well as deductions for any faults found with the car. There is also a deduction of value if MOT is due within 6months of sale date. Not very transparent when giving the initial sale price for the car. I also found our local service centre difficult to locate. The address given on the confirmation email was not actually the address where I needed to drop the car. The agent that I dealt with was very friendly and straightforward.

Decent service, didn’t like the haggling over price.

The service was very straightforward simple to use and quick. Nathan was really nice and helpful. He explained everything to me and has good people skills. I was quite disappointed with the price offered for the car.

The website process was easy, but quite restrictive. It was difficult to include details of issues with the vehicle, and any details that were entered were reset any time you changed anything else. The valuation process was not transparent, and bore no relationship to the price actually offered.

Was quick and easy

The price I was originally offered by one salesman was dropped £700 by another not happy at all

Didn't realise it was 4 days waiting

Lovely staff but the pricr always drops dramatically from quote, bit of a scam really
Helpful Report
The quote from we buy any car is not a true quote, they will always find faults which i get, but they over high lite them and renew the quote, which is then a few hundreds off the original quote. Would not recommend this company, try to sell privately.
Helpful Report
Got a lot less than the quote

Booked appointment but had to wait around to speak to a member of staff so took a lot longer than promised

Nobody told me I had to arrange to remove my private plate in advance resulting in me having to sell with the private plate

Customer service was fantastic couldn’t complain. The amount offered is bad- it’s a hassle to sell privately and with a young family don’t fancy having stranger round the house. So was hoping for more than what was offered. Won’t be using again- just wanted to get rid as didn’t have the space to keep on drive

No hassle sale

If you're needing to sell your vehicle quickly then not a bad way of doing so but expect a lower price and for that price to be knocked down again when you get to the sales centre
Helpful Report
Felt that the reduction in offer was quite harsh considering low mileage, full service history, immaculate inside, 2 new continental tyres & MOT until March 23 . Was offered 10,020 and knocked down to 9,500
