Very disappointed in our experience with Wayfairer. Poor communication, very little on the ground support when we arrived. Some itineraries were changed literally at the last minute, although they should have known in advance some attractions were not open. One hotel was changed at the end of our trip, and we were not properly advised. We were given pretty lame excuses and apologies when we brought our complaints to their attention. For a company that supposedly has done many trips to Japan, they were surprisingly disorganized. Their main contact person lives in Thailand, so they contract everything out to yet another company on the ground. All our information came to us third hand. Would NOT recommend them.

Unfortunately, we did not receive any communication from you during your trip, which limited our ability to resolve your concerns in real-time. Regarding your expectations about accommodation space, it is important to note that rental properties in Japanese cities often differ significantly from most other countries. We understand that this can be disappointing, but without prior notification, we were unable to make any adjustments to your accommodation. Moreover, we made efforts to address your concerns upon your return and offered compensation as a gesture of goodwill. However, we cannot condone the behaviour of threatening to leave multiple negative reviews unless additional compensation is provided. Blackmail is not a practice we can support or tolerate. We value all feedback as it helps us improve our services, and we regret that your experience was not satisfactory. Best Regards, Wayfairer Team.
