Positives: accessible, really knows the areas that we go to, listens to our needs and wants, flexible, upbeat, professional, ecosensitive Be aware: expensive ( though pay for what you get), you get moved through different people in the organization so hard at times to have a "contact"”

“We had an absolutely amazing and unforgettable trip to Uganda!! Eleanor and Cissy were always very helpful, communicative and responsive to any questions/concerns we had and did a fantastic job planning and coordinating our itinerary and lodging. From the moment we landed in Uganda we were greeted and whisked away to start our adventure. We saw the beauty of Uganda, had amazing wildlife experiences with game drives, gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and learned so much about the Ugandan culture and people, who have the absolute best smiles! Our guide, Gulielm, from our ground team Speke Holidays, was such a pleasure to spend 8 days with. His in-depth knowledge of the African animals we saw and the history of Uganda, combined with his engaging personality truly made our trip a once in a lifetime experience. Wayfairer created the perfect Ugandan adventure for us!”

“My partner and I booked our 3-week, self, driven tour of Namibia through Wayfairer and from the first point of contact we knew this was going to be a special trip; not just because we were visiting an absolute gem of a country, but because of the time, effort and consideration that Kate put into organising our holiday. From the off, Kate listened to what we wanted to do, where we wanted to go, and what suited our budget. But she also provided expert knowledge and advice on all these aspects to ensure that we got the best value out of our trip in both time and money. The itinerary she came back with really sparked the excitement for what ended up being the adventure of a lifetime. If anything needed changing, Kate and the concierge team were readily on hand, even at weekends at times, to help us out, and nothing felt like too much of an effort. We also always knew we were going to spend a few thousand pounds on our trip, but honestly, booking with Wayfairer really made us feel like we were getting the best value for our money. I even checked some prices out elsewhere, or looked at direct bookings, and rarely did anything seem to compete with what Wayfairer was offering. Therefore, as much as it pains me to say it, because I want to keep Namibia and Wayfairer as my own little secrets, I couldn’t recommend both of them enough. And I’m sure Wayfairer has plenty of great agents, but if you can get Kate to help you out you won’t regret it. I’ll finish with the real highlight of the trip though, which was getting engaged to my now fiancée in front of the elephants in Etosha National Park. It was the perfect setting for one of the happiest days of my life, and my fiancée and I will never ever forget it. And when I told Kate, she was absolutely over the moon for us both and for having played a part in our best trip ever! So enjoy your adventure and safe travels!!”

“I just returned from a memorable 2-week trip in Madagascar and from an utterly unforgettable experience. Wayfairer plans were executed clearly, timely, and without any challenges. Even when I though I was going to have an issue, I contacted Cissy, my very attentive concierge, and she quickly clarified the matter and everything proceeded as luxuriously and beautifully as initially planned. I had caring and knowledgeable guides and drivers everywhere I traveled. To avoid surprises, I recommend that you clarify with Wayfairer before traveling if and when your alcoholic drinks are included (they were in some places and not in others) and whether your internal commercial flights are in business or coach. I have another trip to Namibia planned with Wayfairer I am looking forward to experience and enjoy.”

“Wayfairer planned the most wonderful Patagonian holiday we could have ever asked for! From the various logistics of arranging domestic flights, tours, our W-trek in Torres del Paine, a border crossing between Chile and Argentina, and more, they were incredible to have working out the details on our behalf! Each activity and tour they had arranged for us was wonderful. The attention to detail in planning each stage of our trip was top-notch! We would 100% recommend using them for any travel plans, but definitely for any Patagonia trip in the future. Our trip was so much better knowing that we had the Wayfairer team there to arrange all transportation, tours, and more. Without Wayfairer going above and beyond, we don't know how we would have coordinated all the details of the trip or if we would have been able to fit as much in as we did. If you are looking to visit Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Perrito Moreno Glacier, Puerto Natales, and/or do the W-trek Torres Del Paine, Wayfairer is the way to go! Lotte and Juan were always willing to answer all questions and help us navigate the planning process. Thank you for making our dream a reality!”

“Very disappointed in our experience with Wayfairer. Poor communication, very little on the ground support when we arrived. Some itineraries were changed literally at the last minute, although they should have known in advance some attractions were not open. One hotel was changed at the end of our trip, and we were not properly advised. We were given pretty lame excuses and apologies when we brought our complaints to their attention. For a company that supposedly has done many trips to Japan, they were surprisingly disorganized. Their main contact person lives in Thailand, so they contract everything out to yet another company on the ground. All our information came to us third hand. Would NOT recommend them.”

Moreover, we made efforts to address your concerns upon your return and offered compensation as a gesture of goodwill. However, we cannot condone the behaviour of threatening to leave multiple negative reviews unless additional compensation is provided. Blackmail is not a practice we can support or tolerate. “I would never use this company again! They claim to provide luxury services but they did a switch from a lovely hotel when I first arrived only to switch without telling me or getting my approval to a far inferior hotel when I returned to Tokyo. They set up a tour with a guide who came totally unprepared and wasted over an hour trying to figure out what to do with me. Then I was sent to an event that was completely in Japanese with no opportunity for the guide to translate which made the whole experience useless. They were late in getting me a pocket wifi to my hotel. A number of hotels they arranged were two star, smelly and had ripped sheets. They had no 24 hr contact though their ad says they do. When I complained they offered almost nothing to compensate me for all the problems which I experienced.”

“A fantastically organised trip around Cape Town and then particularly Botswana. Andrew and I were blown away by Botswana and the camps/accommodation arranged via Amelia from Wayfairer. When speaking with Amelia, it was great to chat through with someone who had so recently been and experienced the country. The concierge service (with Lorna for us) was wonderful, convenient and highly responsive. There were no missteps here and we can't wait to go back and visit more beautiful places in Botswana and other Southern Africa nations.”

“Customer service was outstanding and every staff member we spoke to from booking to going on the holiday was helpful and really polite. Our trip to South Africa was for our honeymoon and although it was expensive, it was worth every penny. The safari in Kruger have given my wife and I memories for a lifetime. “THe service from Day one of the first phone call to Vernon made me know I made the right choice. He took in everything my family and I were interested in seeeing and doing while in Africa - He took that information and built the most unforgettable 8 day package that my wife and I will ever experience. Worth every single dollar. From The Central Kalahari and The Okavunga River Delta to VIctoria Falls we saw elephants, hippos, giraffes, bucks, kidu, orax, zebras, babboons, and even a true lion hunt of a Zebra at Dusk - and that was just the first two days. Every moment of every camp was 5 star and memorable - the food was amazing, even the bush flights between lodges were excellent - and I hate small planes. Personally, I recommend TAU PAN camp over all the others I visited just for y own reasons of the samll camp, and a bonus - there an overnight 3 story tent room option for one of your evenings therre - with all the amenities but no roof - where you can see the entire milky way stars you have never seen before - Maybe even something more interesting! It truly was awesome. I planned this trip assuming I would have some regrets about spending too much or not enjoying something - I was wrong - EVERYTHING Exceeded my vrye high expectations and I will not only recommend this Agency to help you p[lan your perfect trip tailored to your desires - i will be taking my family back on furthter expeditions with Wayfairer Travel! I know these are big decisions - but you can trust these people will make truly take care of your every need and plan the best experience posssible with all of their travel experience and connections! And no I don't work for them - it really was this great - I hate filling out reviews online!!!!”

“I am very happy with the Wayfairer Travel team (Amelia Tracey, Lorna Sseezi and all others on the team) and have been very impressed by the services: From Amelia understanding exactly the kind of vacation I was looking for, responding promptly to my myriad questions, to her flexibility in tailoring the package to suit my needs, to Lorna's on the ground support - her proactively reaching out to me to check how things were going, her responsiveness even on her days off, and her ability to ensure that the promised inclusions in the package (safari trips) were provided even if there were no other passengers, everything Wayfairer did was above and beyond anything I expected or have experienced from other companies.
