“I did not know what to expect on our first experience of going on Safari. I must say that Wayfairer travel and every staff member exceeded every expectation. I think we saw more wildlife in the first few hours off the plane than I expected to see on the whole trip, and the trip continued to exceed expectations. Our family group of 7, including seniors and children, were well taken care of in every way. Our trip was exactly what we requested and we had incredible support through the whole trip when questions arose. I would certainly recommend Wayfairer travel to anyone thinking about booking an African safari.”

“My daughter and I started our planning and relationship with Kat from Wayfairer Travel in 9/14/22. Our original travel date was in June of 2023 but we delayed it one year due to the covid19 restrictions. During that time Kat departed Wayfairer and Chanelle Cook took over our planned trip to complete the final details. The change from Kat to Chanelle was seamless in completing our Safari itinerary. All our questions and concerns regarding all issues were quickly replied to to our satisfaction. The actual trip as planned and executed was way beyond our expectations. This was our first trip to Africa for a safari and boy was it way beyond our expectations. Hats off to our wonderful driver/guide Issac with Duma. He was our perfect person and now family to take us on a fantastic 6 day safari where we stayed at Tarangire Treetops lodge, Ngorongoro Lions Paw Camp and Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti. His experience and vast knowledge of Tanzania's parks and wildlife was awesome and educational. We bonded big time and look forward to seeing him on our next trip. After Issac dropped us off at the airport, we continued our trip to Zawadi Hotel Zanibar for rest and relaxation, then on to Londolozi Founders Camp in Sabi Sands which was our favorite place to stay on our trip. They did a great job of coordinating getting our lost luggage delivered in one day. From there we visited Victoria Falls stays at Chundukwa River Lodge which has beautiful horse to ride. Our last stop before heading home was to Cape Town, doing some wine tasting, Table Mountain tram, the Penguin colony and many other site of interest with our driver/guide Ismael. The bottom line is that we Love Africa, its people and its beauty. The phases and coordination of our trip was perfect by Wayfairer Travel coordinator Chanelle Cook. The accommodations, food and staff/employees at each lodge was fantastic. Best vacation we ever had.”

“We booked our honeymoon trip to Kenya for a safari trip with Wayfairer. We spent 3 days in Saruni Mara, 3 days in Saruni Samburu and 3 days in Diani beach and another day in Nairobi. Overall our trip is well organized and we had an amazing travel experience. Although there were some unexpected light aircraft delays, but our amazing concierge Peach was very helpful and was there for us anytime. Would definitely try to travel more with wayfairer in the future.”

“We had the trip of a lifetime. Three weeks in Argentina and it was magnificent. The guides were knowledgable, the itinerary was well-planned and responsive to our requests, and the countryside was beautiful. Accommodations were lovely and food was excellent, including vegetarian options. No hiccups, everyone was where they said they would be when they were supposed to be there. Our first experience using a travel company and we would definitely book with Wayfairer again if we decided we needed help with planning.”

“I had a multi-week journey to South Africa arranged for me through Wayfair and I don't think I could be happier with this decision. From the very first moment I spoke with Vernon and Peach (Praew) I felt reassured that I made the right choice for my first international travel. The team was very helpful in providing guidance, they were communicative, transparent, and did not apply pressure to make decisions. Even when I had difficulties on my part with a banking issue, the team did not give up. Every part of the trip was perfect. I did not have a single issue with any accommodations and Peach contacted me several times along the way to make sure everything was going well. If you are traveling internationally I cannot recommend this travel group enough and will be sure to use them in the future as well.”

“The team at Wayfairer customized and arranged our recent trip to northern Argentina. We had a number of specific locations and activities we wanted to fit into our two-week stay. They were able to accommodate all of our wish-list items and also recommended a wonderful three-day excursion to the Ibera Wetlands that we never would have known about or discovered on our own. When traveling, I am usually the one in our family to do all of the planning, make all the arrangements, and keep us on course during the trip. Wayfairer took all of the heavy lifting off my shoulders for this trip, which made it a breeze and a true vacation. It was a pleasure working with them and I would do so again. Also, highly recommend Argentina - Buenos Aires, the Ibera Wetlands, Tilcara and Cafayate. Such a beautiful and diverse country!”

“My husband and I just returned from a great trip to Victoria Falls, Botswana and Cape Town organized by Wayfairer. We had accommodations in five different places all of which we liked, and in three of them we were upgraded to higher category rooms than had been booked for us. We felt very well cared for the whole time. All the pickups, transfers and dropoffs worked incredibly smoothly. The detailed itinerary and the guest portal provided by Wayfairer prepared us well ahead of time, and, for the most part, we knew what to expect at each location. In Vic Falls and Cape Town we organized our own itineraries. In Botswana we stayed at three different safari lodges which varied from very luxurious to pretty basic (but comfortable). From the warm welcome and personal attention at each lodge to the comfort of the accommodations to the high quality games drives and other excursions with extremely knowledgeable safari guides to the healthy and delicious meals provided we could not have had a better experience. The not-so-good: We rejected the first Botswana safari lodge suggested by the company after I realized it was a massive tourist trap. (This was subsequently confirmed when I ran into some unhappy people who had stayed there.) The much more authentic and exclusive lodge booked for us instead was fabulous. Then, the last safari camp was quite different from its description in our itinerary, making it obvious that Wayfairer was in fact not familiar with this place and the details of its safari activities. In spite of that we had a great (but different) experience there. One other thing: we had several international flight connections between three different African countries which we booked ourselves. Had Wayfairer booked them for us (they offered) we could have paid considerably more. Altogether we feel Wayfairer was a good choice. We had a wonderful and worry free vacation. (But do your own research!)”

“All the -arrangements worked flawlessly. My only complaint is that the pretravel instructions didn't give a sense of how very cold it is at night and early morning. I should have packed more long pants and foregone the shorts. And visitors to Tau Pan in the Kalahari should know that it's very dusty sandy - mesh shoes/sneakers get filled with very fine sand in very short order. Camp Mopiri was a little slow - not much in the way of game. I should have booked a place in Moremi NP instead.”

“I was helped by Chanelle for my trip to Bora Bora. This is the first time I was using Wayfairer and She went out of her way to help me with every single thing. I would bug her with questions and she was so patient with me and answered all my questions regarding my itinerary.She was kind, very helpful and emphatic towards my last minute visa issues. “My trip to Japan was disappointing. It left me with the feeling that perhaps the trip was the one and only trip they planned for Japan. Poor communication, some subpar hotels, mixed bag on the guides, questionable sites included as well as excluded. Generally, I didn't feel that Wayfairer knew or cared. Can't recommend them.”

Regarding your expectations about accommodation space, it is important to note that rental properties in Japanese cities often differ significantly from most other countries. We understand that this can be disappointing, but without prior notification, we were unable to make any adjustments to your accommodation. Moreover, we made efforts to address your concerns upon your return and offered compensation as a gesture of goodwill. However, we cannot condone the behaviour of threatening to leave multiple negative reviews unless additional compensation is provided. Blackmail is not a practice we can support or tolerate. “We had an absolutely amazing and unforgettable trip to Uganda!! Eleanor and Cissy were always very helpful, communicative and responsive to any questions/concerns we had and did a fantastic job planning and coordinating our itinerary and lodging. From the moment we landed in Uganda we were greeted and whisked away to start our adventure. We saw the beauty of Uganda, had amazing wildlife experiences with game drives, gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and learned so much about the Ugandan culture and people, who have the absolute best smiles! Our guide, Gulielm, from our ground team Speke Holidays, was such a pleasure to spend 8 days with. His in-depth knowledge of the African animals we saw and the history of Uganda, combined with his engaging personality truly made our trip a once in a lifetime experience. Wayfairer created the perfect Ugandan adventure for us!”
