“The Maidstone branch is always really helpful, friendly and professional. I have confidence in them and their work. As a woman I feel some garages try and take the mickey a bit, but not coming here. I would recommend them to everyone for tyres, servicing, MoTs and advice.”

“Dealt with Chris. Took an usual tyre fitting request to him. Very friendly guy, knowledgeable and competent. Efficient service from the Business. They fitted 5 tyres to new painted rims for a vehicle preservation project, not a scratch on rims andreturned clean, very respectful towards the property. Excellent job. Staff very friendly and helpful Also very reasonably priced. Will use again.”

“Puncture repair completed at the Rainham, Kent branch...front wheel this time. Drove straight in after making a quick call to them in advance and once again an efficient repair made without any damage to the alloy :-) All staff polite and professional. Only negative was the 25% price increase since my last puncture repair in Oct 2021, but I guess this isn't down to the individual Rainham branch. I appreciate that costs have gone up nationally/globally, but even so, 25% on a puncture repair seems pretty steep to me. Price increase aside, I would recommend and use the Rainham, Kent branch again...great staff :-)”

“Great customer service from Rainham Watling Tyres . I popped in late Friday night to see if they would be open on Saturday which they were so asked if I popped back could check my tyre for me to see if it could be repaired. Chris said we can do that for you now if that’s ok with me . They were all so friendly and helpful. They couldn’t repair my tyre but they were able to put a new tyre on for me. I was really impressed, that late on a Friday night they didn’t make me feel that I was an inconvenience. Thank you Chris and your team at Rainham Watling 7th Jan 2022”

“I had just started to leave my sister to travel to South Wales when I had a puncture. On my sister's recommendation, I went to Watling Tyres, Rainham. They were so helpful and friendly. The car needed a new tyre. They managed to source one quickly and had me on my way by mid afternoon. They provided great service at a good price. Thank you to them for getting me home!”

“After having 2 punctured tyres, I spoke to Chris at Rainham branch, who quickly checked stock and arranged for Joe to come to my office. I needed 2 new tyres which were changed very quickly and reasonably. The service was so good we didn’t have any second thoughts for calling them the following day for my husbands van which also had a puncture. Excellent service. Thank you”

“BAD FEELINGS WITH NEW REDHILL MANAGER - PRICES WELL UP ! I have used this company for 25 years approx, and so have many of my colleagues but not any more. A new 'Manager' who has bad social skills and doesn't look at you when you are talking to him ? .... he is not user friendly as the previous manager and assistant manager who were really very good, in fact they were EXCELLENT ! Plus he has put all the prices up, not Covid, not Brexit, just him. PLUS They do not stock many 1st line tyres any more [always have to order], in fact their stock is now at least 50% down on 2 years ago, that was confirmed some time ago as the owners son I think now manages this site if not all of the sites. Shame it was a great branch of Watlings, my I add the staff in the workshop are Brilliant and very polite. THERE ARE AT LEAST 5 OTHER TYRE SUPPLIERS NEARBY I hope Mr Watling Senior reads this review.”

Indeed, Tyre and Consumable costs have moved upwards on many occasions over the last two years and, whilst we do try to absorb rises where possible, there comes a point when a business must follow suit.
