“Bought as a replacement for an existing high-capacity water butt, this feels much more substatntial and therefore likely to be more durable. The locking lid is a good safety feature but I would like to have had a built-in access point for rainwater. The absence of a drain point I feel is a poor design feature making moving the butt problematic once in use due to the weight of residual water. Also, the usable capacity of the butt is probably somewhat less than advertised as a result.”

“Neat and compact. I hadn't realised the drainpipe connector wouldn't fit my downpipe and had to get another. I had no problem fitting it and the water butt is now in place waiting for the weekend's forecast rain.”

“Came when it said it would. It would have been very helpful if the top hole for the downspout attachment had been predrilled and plugged. Needed special tool to drill hole which I didn't have. Looks good now in place.”

“Delivery was within the stated time. It is good that you get not only the water butt but also a stand and rainwater harvesting kit that others supply as extras. Not five stars as there was a lot of "flashing" around the water entry and tap holes that had to be removed to ensure a good seal.”

“Things didn't go quite to plan as I was advised the supplier firstly had issues with delayed delivery and subsequently had no stock or materials, so the order would take two months to arrive! Fortunately, stock did turn up, and the water butt arrived one month after ordering. I was kept informed and the outcome was better than predicted. The water butt is great. It was annoying to have to wait for something trhat you were led to believe was a stock item. Hence not 5 stars.”

“Following a short delay due to out of stock my water butt arrived. The base is in two halves and merely locks together to form a good solid support. I have linked this to an existing butt and the parts I ordered came with the main delivery of the butt. Easily linked up and secure. Just need it to rain now! One of the anvil clips securing the lid to the butt was damaged I contacted the supplier who kindly posted a full set of clips to me. The product is now complete. Excellent customer service and product. Fits nicely next to my existing water butt and both are the same. Thanks.”
